  1. I have absolutely no clue which exact building it because I don't actually know as I myself can't find it via google maps. It's on a rooftop of one of these buildings though or very close to these: Chemistry Annex Peter J Shields Library Physical Sciences and Engineering Library Chemistry Building Dept. of Physics Physics Building
  2. The City of Davis only posts issued permits and the last time they updated their reports list was for the Febuary / March / April time frame. I don't know what they're doing at this moment but I'm sure it'll show up the next time the lil city pops up their permit report. There's really only 3 full builds that serve most of the community so it shouldn't be too hard for me to find out. That is unless people see contractors doing work..
  3. Thread is on temporary time out until you all can chill out. This thread is to discuss T-mobile and what they're up to and not for attacking other members be it administrator, sponsor, or regular members. *Thread Reopened* Play nice guys.
  4. There is one located smack dab in the center of the campus on top of one of the taller buildings. It's the building of doom / lost hope / failed grades / cram nights / depression...
  5. Funny thing is in Sacramento, T-mobiles been going at their refarm for a good year or so but Sprint has already past them on rural LTE coverage with one single LTE cell site south of Rancho Cordova in the sticks . Heh.
  6. Yeah... I am a moderator... cough... cough.... But post it here. It's always nice to look at tower setups as every tower is unique and no two are ever the same.
  7. In addition, they've also began doing GMO style setups with RRU's to existing antennas. Apparantly, according to Milan, Ericsson has ran into problems with manufacturing AIR 21's and T-mobile is resorting to using Ericsson RRU4 and RRUS12's with existing equipment. Put that along with the fact that they typically do not need to replace their RBS cabinets and the existence of high speed backhaul, it would be a colossal failure if they didn't deploy as fast as they did.
  8. *is on a family plan of 5 lines and paying $240-250 a month with discount* Yeah... I don't think so Sprint... ~$300+ for 5 lines when your network is 1/3rd finished upgrading and ATT being ~$280 and Verizon around ~$300 for almost the same plans but far superior networks..... Gotta have to ask yourself who the hell made these plans. Sprints current leadership or Son... hmm.
  9. Ah, thanks for trying in that case and yes, that survey will be helpful. We'll just have to watch the acceptance reports in that case.
  10. They're required by state law to show said information to any whom requests it. But yeah, much thanks. Look for applications / issuances after Febuary 1,2013 and post it here / pm me. I keep a building permit map of Sprint cell sites in the Upper Central Valley Market in the sponsor area in addition to having a map of all Sprint cell sites in the market.
  11. If it was a weak signal then it's probably from one of the 7 accepted LTE towers in the market several miles away from you in the sticks. If it was an extremely strong signal then.. hum... there is a sprint cell site at Rosemont HS on one of the stadium light poles. Edit: Sprint cell site is actually right next to the football stadium on private property. It's a multi-carrier cell tower.
  12. No clue about that mess but there's no Sprint antennas there. Sprint is across the park and is on the rooftop of one of the buildings adjacent to Hyatt regency. F
  13. A permit has been pulled for a Sprint roof top site just a bit from the capital building down capitol mall. Don't know how long it'll take for them to get that permit issued.
  14. Much thanks. Rancho Cordova is a huge ? as they have a page for permits online that is incomplete so I practically do not know what is going on over there. We do know that work has begun though.
  15. Rancho city hall eh? Looks like we have a prime candidate to go visit the city hall clerk and request Rancho Cordova building permits for telecommunications / antennas! http://cityofranchocordova.org/Index.aspx?page=41 Edit: Midtown and Downtown sacramento will not have much network vision work until at least september and october. Modification permits for roof tops take quite a while to get approved though I am tracking 3 of them (1 downtown - 2 midtown) of which one is ready to be issued.
  16. Here's a guide.. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/3767-adding-images-to-posts-imgur-links/
  17. I highly recommend you do not link anything from sites like sprint community boards nor sites like sprint users. I'm half tempted to ban whoever posts these links as the ignorance from reading their contents makes me want to vomit and shut down the part of my brain that controls my aggression.... If you want to read about sprint in an usually objective manner and not a emotional manner then stay here.
  18. Call it into Sprint and open a ticket. This shouldn't be happening so something might be up.
  19. Backhaul is not delivered by Sprint or its contractors. Backhaul is delivered by the contractors or employees of the local ILEC that has been contracted to do the work. Sprint has no control over anything other than the leased areas on the cell sites. Sprint is at the mercy of whoever they contracted for backhaul.
  20. That is what we hope happens but each site is unique and anything goes.
  21. I feel ya. The past couple of days the damn weather hovered around 105-110 with real feel around 115! It's a good thing that it's now going back to the high 80s and lows 90s. Much more bearable...
