  1. That's a Samsung TD-LTE RRU & BRS/EBS Antenna Panel.
  2. Deep splurge of purple on sensorly near garden high way / interstate 80 on the north side of West Sacramento. A Sprint cell site was permitted and issued there a while back so I believe it has went active with LTE and may have been accepted.
  3. Samsung TD-LTE RRUs are virtually indistinguishable from their PCS RRUs but pretty sure that pic is of a TD-LTE setup. Going to be fun for those in the IBEZ trying to figure out if they're using PCS only setups or td-lte setups.
  4. Nokia Siemens equipment are among the best for telecom equipment and are pound for pound equivalent to Ericsson & Samsung and far above alcatel-lucent. Ericsson & ALU has their hands full with ATT/ Verizon / T-Mobile and are already at max capacity whereas NSN most likely has plenty to spare.
  5. I hear Nokia Siemens Networks has some spare capacity in their TD-LTE division....
  6. At least 8000 new sprint sites as approximately 40% of clearwire sites are colocated with sprint. Sent from my SPH-D710
  7. http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1195-information-about-s4gru-sponsorship-levels-and-how-to-become-a-sponsor/
  8. Service disruptions (dropped calls / roaming / data not working / decreased signal strength) are to be expected when upgrades begin. When that happens, keep an eye on local towers / cell sites. Gotta look both on the structure itself and the base stations as usually different contractors do the installation for each. .
  9. Nope. You'll need to hop back to a stock rom and update the prl there and flash CM if you do want to switch PRLs to the ones like what we have in the sponsors area.
  10. Seriously? Who the hell derailed the thread again? Next person to derail this thread will get a vacation. *glares at above posters* Please DO NOT DERAIL thread.
  11. Because the tower that is live is over 4 miles away and across the river from the Pocket / Greenhaven area? It's got a hell of a long range to reach out over there considering the fact it's radius is meant to be more of a mile to two miles. Edit: Its exact location is marked on my permit / progress map as Robert hasn't updated the NV Sites Complete map yet. I'm expecting another tower in West Sac to go live very soon.
  12. The thread has been fixed. This topic is for discussing TD-LTE 2500/2600 and not for CDMA 1x, future network moves, or discussion regarding 600 mhz.
  13. Yup. Site accepted for 4G in the southeast of West Sacramento area across the pocket area. It's the tower that serves my house....
  14. I think I actually see Sprint Network Vision Antennas + RRUs on the bottom rack! Notice how one antenna has wires going out of the bottom and is larger than the other along with two box like figures behind it? Great find! Will require a closer picture! Edit: Definitely Sprint Samsung Network Vision Antenna & RRUs on that tower in Davis!
  15. Thought so. So it is coming from a site out in West Sac. I wonder which one... hmm... By the way, you were right by a Sprint cell site that has a permit ready to be issued and just waiting for a contractor crew to pick it up.
  16. There's LTE in West Sacramento. A tiny blip of purple has appeared on sensorly between Davis & West Sac.
