  1. Definitely. I expect stockton to get it's first LTE signal at the latest by the end of summer (august probably). Side effect of cell sites going online after July 1 is that probably LTE 800 / CDMA 800 1x will come online at the same time as LTE 1900 which would be very noticeable for voice reception & data (for tri-band devices).
  2. Those ones near i-5 are the ones that have permits issued for a while now. Rest of Elk Grove cell sites are still a (?) pending their monthly building permit reports. The few cell sites surrounding Lodi (and in lodi) have been converted to Network Vision gear but has not been accepted nor fully activated yet. Stockton area down to Manteca and Lathrop are big (?) as they don't post building permit information online so I can't check but the surrounding unincorporated San Joaquin areas that have cell sites are progressing quite nicely. CSUS area you might get some bleedover signal (weak signal) from Arden Arcade or from Folsom Blvd across 50 when those sites are accepted but the cell site that directly serves the CSUS campus has not been applied for yet (city of sacramento - not unincorporated sacramento county (ala arden arcade or across hwy 50).
  3. 1.No definitely no. 2. No no it'll slow down by 6-12 months and wont be complete till 2017. 3.Definitely no lte advance anywhere and wont be till 2019. 4. Nah virgin mobile and boost belongs to Verizon like page 5.The company will be named Spank Mobile 6.No more unlimited. There will be 512mb packages worth $5 each. Automatic $10 when there are data overages. 2Gb plans will be $40 and 5gb will be $75 /s Sent from my SPH-D710
  4. Absolutely no. Faster than the EVDO that Verizon has been neglecting? Definitely. Faster than HSPA+ 14.4 (ATT) or T-mobile HSPA +21 or DC-HSPA+42? Nope.
  5. Doubt it is after looking at streetview images. Still worth it to go up and take a look regardless. If only someone would get stockton building permit info....
  6. Ya, could be a high capacity dual antenna site. Doesn't look anything like ATT or Verizon setups where they typically have 3 or 4 antennas. Not T-mobile AIR's or MetroPCS stuff either so... not to mention they're right next to legacy Sprint PCS antennas.... Edit: Google streetview has those being there since 2012 so probably not sprint...
  7. When do you think this will happen?Quarter 4 or Quarter 1. It's something to look forward to for the future but not as important as tearing down the legacy network and replacing everything with modern stuff. Sent from my SPH-D710
  8. As good as LTE is, I'm more excited by the fact that they are replacing everything in the New Vision upgrades. Better voice, 3g data, and LTE along with unlimited data. It's like a dream come true. And more to boot. Remember that spotty wimax 4g service we have? That clearwire network will be replaced in the near future with samsung dual mode td-lte / wimax gear. Easy peasy adding a few antennas /RRU and hooking up to the new network vision gear. Sent from my SPH-D710
  9. If it's the one on the park then I've no clue. If it's the one by the apartments then it must be under a different address from the one they have on the county parcel viewer. =\ edit: yep, just checked the apartment complex for permit information and the tower there is leased to ATT. Guess the sprint cell site is the stealth monopole by the fire station on the public park.
  10. It could be the one in the apartment or the one by the fire station but I don't know without better images of the one by the apartments. Not to mention, nothing shows up when I search the apartment parcel...
  11. Ya that's the one. The second one I don't think is by the apartments as that one appears to be more like an ATT setup. I saw a giant fat white monopole by the Fire Station next to the park which I think is a stealth site and could be the spot where Sprint be co-located on. Parcel is a park which I cannot search for permit information...
  12. Haha yeah. There's 2 additional cell sites in Antelope but whose information and address I cannot find. One is a no address parcel on elverta road right next to Antelope Greens Golf Course and the other is somewhere in the vicinity of Antelope High School (the walerga one). I cannot for my life figure out an address for them and so cannot check if they're in progress permit wise.
  13. Awesome. I always turn to look at it when I leave in the morning to see if there's any work being done on it. I'll keep an eye on it too. There was no work being done on the other Citrus Heights tower last week. Will pass by this week to check again. No need to yet. It's in the earliest stage of application and not issued yet so work can't begin. Just thought I'd let you know. Sent from my SPH-D710
  14. Sounds about right. Practically every Orangevale cell site has had permits issued. Good job on looking up and forward at the same time.
  15. No available information that I could easily find (aka not online) or nothing applied, yet.
  16. I assume you're referencing my map, if so, as accurate can be with the information that can be found online. Updated every other day.
  17. zzzz.... http://assessorparcelviewer.saccounty.net/GISViewer/Default.aspx http://www.cityofsacramento.org/dsd/reference/development-activity-reports/ Or if it's a specific cell site location than that's sponsor information.
  18. Actually just checked up on the handful of permits applied in downtown area. One of them is actually moving along after a month and a half of inactivity and reached the "processing" stage which basically means almost issuance within the next week... still have unpaid fees though... Possibly LTE at the end of july around 15th street & P / Q / S streets in the near future... Edit: hmm... several others are also marked as approved ...
  19. Downtown Sacramento? I wouldn't expect anything till at least august /september time frame at the rate Sprint contractors are applying permits for city of sacramento and somehow forgetting to pay their fees or provide sufficient documents / properly filled out applications. The area from arden-arcade out towards roseville and orangevale and other areas around the market will probably be flushed out with upgraded cell sites in the next 3 months and possibly have LTE at most places over there. The perks of being part of a much faster & easier permitting / zoning environment (unincorporated areas).
