I will stay with winter a little bit longer, I HATE BUGS.. I hate the fact that I have to make sure my yard is nice and pretty all summer long, mowing in between rains and things. That said I love to take the camper out and get away... I just hate the bugs --- go figure! Rv show coming up cant wait! But when there is snow on the ground ... all the yards look the same.

Analysts: Sprint to lose 150K subs in Q4
dnicekid replied to IamMrFamous07's topic in General Topics
My fear is Sprint will continue to lose more customers, their bad reputation is really hurting them. I have tried to talk many people the last few days to get on a framily. Everyone just think sprint sucks or they have a horror story about what happened to them while on sprint. Sprint needs a really good promo. Something like when nextel first came on the scene it was unlimited for $99 which was unheard of at the time, even though it was only for the first year. Maybe sprint makes the first 3 payments on easy pay when you switch? -

the hartford, ct market (which was formerly wimax) seems to be popping up quickly, I agree that sprint should invest more before the losses become to great. Looks like sprint plans on doing somethimg internal http://www.mediapost.com/publications/article/217458/sprint-launching-comprehensive-agency-review.html -
Analysts: Sprint to lose 150K subs in Q4

Wouldn't that be something no thought of. I would have thought the leases were taken care for the most part. I believe they are running new back haul to a site not far from me. Verizon has been there almost everyday and the site hasnt turned on to lte yet so my fingers are crossed. Is there a reason why they couldnt just keep going and add 800 lte while they are at the site? To expedite things? -
Analysts: Sprint to lose 150K subs in Q4

I must say I am feeling that some are really getting frustrated over the whole plan. The more reading and looking around I do the more I realize a few things 1) how far behind sprint really is 2) by the time they finish they still might be behind and "not deliver what was promised" 3) other carriers are really close in price 4) many people are holding out for sprints benefit 5) many are tired of sprints broken promises I have been with sprint over 10 years and while my area is lte launched it often comes and goes a large part is due to my phone (i hope) but smh. I don't get anywhere near the speeds of other carriers. While i know its not that important, how else is sprint supposed to gain customers??? Are they gonna advertise a great network just to have vzw make a commercial comparing speed tests the way they did coverage maps?? Regardless of what many may say its going to come down to speed... and so far here in the northeast (at least in my market) it isn't matching the other carriers.. Why would someone want to go to or come back to sprint? Tmo/att are paying etfs and giving out great pricing for a better experience now. I just don't see what sprint has to offer... If Framily was about $10 cheaper to go directly at tmo? I am hoping sprint can do it but I just don't know how... and my own patience is running out. Isnt there someone in sprint corp we can send an email too? Then again, Is it possible that sprint could really be this blind? Or cocky? We all know tmo network is similar in size to sprint (or comparable) I know they didn't do as much as sprint but how did they deploy lte in about 9 months and we are 2yrs into ours.. I do understand it is a different build... but what did they do that sprint can't? -
May 14th is the cut off?..... I am sure the s5 will be released by then or on that day.

AMEN! maybe we could email a part of this to somebody at sprint??? -
http://www.knowyourmobile.com/samsung/samsung-galaxy-s5/21331/samsung-galaxy-s5-release-date-specs-features-bigger-better Dream on! If the s5 comes with all this! Wow!
-
would it be possible to get it added through google support? they can send sprint the number???
-
Some will prolly go, I was thinking of bringing my lines over with this etf thing but it will end up costing more. For the price I would have to pay att would be better as far as coverage goes and actually price... there about the same. So I think i might just stay with sprint

Is there a difference between 1900 and 25/2600? Meaning if sprint were to acquire 600 would it make sense to sell off the 19 and stay with the 2600 since they have so much of it?
-
would this be something they would deploy from the start? Say in cities like boston, ny or wait and come back later?
-
Amen! This is really a rip off by all carriers... Tmo sang a song of "freedom" and its basically the trojan horse...The company still wins.. Perfect example ...Nexus 5 349 on google play 449 or 549 on sprint.com... and the phone is locked. By making people believe they were "free" we have all these pay as you go options - that are going to hurt us more. I do believe in the option, but what happens as these new phones start coming out at $849+? Its $5 bucks cheaper over the exisiting plans and some will add $30-40 for the price of a phone? Dont be surprised if the carriers turn in larger profits in the next few years as they phase out the subsidized phone. They realized this was something they should have done a long time ago.
-
possibly a $1000 for a phone? $42 a month more on all these new plans???? wow!
-
The article say you have 14 days to lock in your roster ????? you cant add people later on??? Of course, those prices are dependent on all members sticking with the plan, and Sprint has framed the program in such away that customers become active recruiters for Sprint’s network. From the moment one customer signs up for a Framily plan he or she has 14 days to recruit members before the plan roster is locked in. A $5-$30 a month discount is a big enticement to bug your friends and family members to join, and the end result is Sprint could attract a lot more customer. It’s rather ingenious really.

Pre-emptive strike: AT&T to offer T-Mobile users $200 to switch
dnicekid replied to GinaDee's topic in General Topics
How does tmo even compare to att>? Tmo has cheaper prices Both networks are built off gsm/utms Both have deployed lte Tmo has cheaper prices... Att Has more expensive pricing for the most part Has much more coverage Has more reliablity Has more money Has money to do whatever it wants Has more Lte coverage TMo Has better pricing Has better marketing to make their customers "feel good" At the end of the day tmo just doesnt really stack up to att. Tmo is almost like a regional carrier to att. Same as sprint is to vzw IF att is really worried then sign some roaming agreements (lte) with sprint. Tmo has things going for it, but on the large scale its just throwing pebbles at att to make people feel good. How many more subs would they need to get to half of att? Can their network support 60 mil subs? With growth comes more cost, tmo isnt a threat.... yet but who knows if that will ever be...
