  1. Yeah, I suffered 2 years with that phone. Then someone bought it from me for $150... crazy. Do the words "insufficient memory" throw you into a psychotic rage? My blood pressure went up 40 points just writing the words together. You must have the patience of a saint to still be using that phone.
  2. So I assume you are referring to the RAZR MAXX as a huge brick... it is a whopping 0.05 inches thicker than the iPhone 5 and 1.16 ounces heavier. If you are keeping score, it is thinner and a mere 0.18 oz heavier than the 4S. That doesn't come off as a huge brick to me... I feel the same way about iPhones. I hate them and will never use one. Even if I have to go back to a flip phone. I'll stick with the Nexus phones. Yes, you absolutely do see iDiots come into Samsung forums and "crap on their lunches." Just because you don't go into Samsung forums, doesn't mean that it doesn't happen. Almost every article on Android Central has some iDiots in the comments praising their jesus phone and how it is superior to anything Android.
  3. The wife had the Moment as well. She was hesitant about going to the Epic 4G Touch, but she loved it and it changed her mind on Samsung. It changed my mind on Samsung as well. The Moment was garbage, as was the HTC Hero. They were poorly implemented phones that were essentially the beta test for the OEMs on the Android OS.
  4. There was a guy in my company that dropped his phone in water. The earpiece stopped working, so he had to use speakerphone all the time. He looked really funny, especially since his hearing is gone, so he was always yelling into the phone. All I am saying, is that I, personally, would never use siri, and never choose an iPhone 4S over a iPhone 5 or 4 at this point in time. I seem to remember a time in this forum where everyone was up in arms that Sprint's line of LTE phones wouldn't support LTE over 800 or 2600 MHz until next year, because they wanted them to be (somewhat) futureproof. So why would it be fine to forego LTE capability on a phone for a mere $100? If I was considering a iPhone 4 or 4S, I would be scouring Craigslist for someone planning to upgrade to a 5 and willing to sell their 4 or 4S for cheap. You might be able to get extra memory that way, as the free and $100 4 and 4S have the least memory possible.
  5. No kidding... By my math, the average single line is about $70 per month. Even if you were to pay the maximum ETF of $350, it would only take 5 months before Sprint started taking a $70 hit per month. Wasting bandwidth is not hurting Sprint, it is hurting the other customers in your area and still making money for Sprint as they already have the equipment in place and broadcasting signal. That is pretty much exactly what we have been debating here. Forum runner over LTE is a drop in the bucket. It is the video streaming/torrent downloading/etc that could easily be done over WiFi with much less effect on the others on the network.
  6. I am a creature of habit. I doubt I would even use siri. Not to mention I would look like a douche talking to my phone. I tried vlingo, Google now, etc. I hate it all. I even hate the voice control on Microsoft sync in my vehicles. Not to mention, siri should be on all the iPhones by now. iOS software upgrade farce... but that is about the largest selling point for 4S over 4
  7. No way I would buy the 4S. I wouldn't compromise LTE connectivity for $100. I would get the 4 for free if I was hurting that bad for money.
  8. LOL, as I hit reply, the edit took effect. I found this link anyway... http://www.washingtonpost.com/business/hold-on-a-second-swiss-rail-company-claims-apple-stole-design-of-iconic-station-clocks/2012/09/21/7c539b2e-03cf-11e2-9132-f2750cd65f97_story.html
  9. I'm sure it was, and I'm sure he was connected to the Punjab call center. I just thought it was comical that they would tell him to remove the battery in the EVO LTE, which is supposed to be Sprint's signature phone.
  10. Ah, yes... I thought you were referring to the other memo. The one that said that 4G would be available by the end of the year. Once the cell sites are finished, they should be discoverable in Barnstable. My bad.
  11. My non-SERO family plan with 25% discount for 2 phones was around $170... $54 per month is a huge difference when it comes to profit margins.
  12. Lol, no import ban on this one...
  13. No The chip is capable of TD-LTE, but the phone is not capable of connecting to 2600MHz spectrum.
  14. About 38-60 minutes along the the Metra Milwaukee District - North Line from Chicago. 15. It has a cult following. Like movies that most people didn't care for, but a small group thinks they were great and doesn't understand why it bombed in the box office. LOL
  16. Maybe we should book the Las Vegas Convention Center... Call it Rolloutcon? If we invite some of the less truthful Sprint store sales staff, we could call it decepticon...
  17. I think it would take a lot to get it back up and moving. With Android also open source, and having the market share, mature development community for apps and games, google play media offerings, etc. it is really going out on a limb for any OEM to even attempt a webOS phone. Also, with the OS being all but dead for this long, I can't imagine that it would even be competitive anymore without major work and upgrades. iOS and Android are constantly evolving and tweaking and adding.
