  1. Think I know what tower your talking about. The legs of the tower look like towers? Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  2. No worries I was practicing too. Normally I only get to hate during the week while I'm at work Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  3. As in I'm on my way where did you pick it up at.. lmao Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  4. I hate you lol Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  5. Wildman I have seen a few configs like that here actually on a site I get pretty good speeds from. Like you though I was confused because it looked nothing like what I had seen previously. The panel looks like the ones Sprint is using but theirs look to be more rounded
  6. So is it possible that ISN was never an employee and was fed by someone else in the company? If that's the case that's classic. Sprint comes after him thinking he's one of them and they find out he's just a regular guy getting info else where then he doesn't give up his source... If that's the case what a rabbit hole. Dude was credible in most cases. Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  7. I guess I should have always been lucky. Where I work is an absolute black hole for Sprint so I have never expected or seen anything better than what I get now. The only time it was better is when they were ripping the roof of the building for a week I was happy. I have noticed though since becoming a member of this site that Sprint sites at least here in Florida seem to be in a lot of cases the lowest site on a shared tower and rarely 200' or higher. Nextel sites I come across and installed usually were 150' and above. Not sure if that has anything to do with the spectrum or the topography of Florida but I wonder if coverage would be helped in this area if they were higher. I wish one of the more intelligent members would write an article about this Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  8. Would that cause the phone to reboot though?
  9. I imagine that there is a little cluster up that way if that tower does have the panels on it. Might be at least one more site up that way close by. One of the contractors I found yesterday doing work in Clearwater is based out of Ocala, never does work in the Pinellas county area or at least doesn't pull permits or them. I wonder if that may be a indication they are all hands on deck for this area. That's a long drive to come do tower work and turn around, maybe hotel costs too. Just a thought
  10. The thing is he had been around at least since the original EVO so I'm not sure why it was such a huge deal this time. I'll say this again when the the EVO LTE was is in embargo and Sprint was saying nothing about it he was the only thing keeping me sane
  11. If you go up there look for the permit box on the fence to verify Sent from my EVO using Tapatalk 2
  12. If I were gonna be honest I'm pretty boring. So this is the most excitement I get
  13. Here is another contractor I found pulling permits in Clearwater and Pinellas county.. CGC1514455 Net-Com
  14. I have to say all I need is data..They can keep the voice..
  15. When I was on a tower crew I never needed to know the city just what exit it was near..That let me know if I could sleep between Bradenton and Naples
  16. Your wife is awesome. I can't get my girlfriend to tell me if her phone is in 3G or 1X, she does does this
  17. Blur, I'm not sure how you do it. I think this is the second time you have told a story like that and a visit to the Sprint store..

    HELP IN MEMPHIS!

I don't think your too stupid. Just too scared. Why is it so important for S-Off for you anyway? if you follow the instructions you will be fine..ask questions on the board most of the people are cool and will answer anything you got.
  19. In my dream scenario Google would come to Sprint with buckets of cash and say only sell Android phones and Tablets, give customers 10G of data a month and price it at 60 per month out the door and we will infuse you with more money than you can imagine. Build the biggest baddest LTE network in under 2 years. I know I'm ridiculous but still.
  20. Florida is really messed up too, or at least over here it is. You could look in Pinellas county and possibly have a permit out there. but then you could pull it in St. Pete, Largo, St. Beach, Bellair, all of them have their own permitting requirements. The St. Pete one for example is a nightmare to navigate but I know one site that is a St. Pete site that is finished and I wonder if there is more
  21. Pinellas county is kinda cool because you can follow the permit trail..For example this is from the site in Largo 10/29/2012 99 B - Final Approved 10/23/2012 199 Electrical - Final Approved
  22. Good job.. Keep in mind that some of that stuff may not be Sprints work. If you're a sponsor you should be able to cross reference this spreadsheet with the sponsor map but if the tower is shared like most of them are it could still be hard to tell. I noticed in Hillsborough that most of those permits I saw had Sprints name on it.
  23. I don't think so..That troll is back under the bridge lol
  24. Thanks that was exactly my next question. I see people here talking about loss of signal that's only brief during this time I guess?
