I'd rather stick with Kit Kat until more bugs are ironed out.
  2. You just can't help yourself can you? Maybe try something productive and/or positive.
  3. Hmmm...I can do quite a bit with 8mb. Oh wait I need a 890mb connection to show off my... What do you call it AJ?

I would guess that it is another Lollipop prep release. Either that or a polished Froyo build. ha!
  6. I've got a 9 member Framily if anyone knows of someone looking to get into one.

I've flashed my G3 with an AOSP ROM. Guess I'll have to flash back to the stock ROM for PRL & Profile updates. Are there dialer codes for AOSP which will allow me to disable/enable certain LTE bands for testing purposes? Obviously I can no longer ##3282# Appreciate any help with this. Thank you

AffirmativeI installed a ROM that removed it. We pay good money for these things and should be able to do what we want with them.
  11. My wife has the 16gb and I have the 32. She absolutely loves it. It works very well for her at work in a productivity role. She has the oem keyboard case and it is perfect for her hands. She is running completely stock. I am running an AOSP ROM, with a dark theme on mine. It's my first Nexus device, and quite frankly, don't believe I'll have another non-Nexus (if Sprint continues to allow them on network). Neither of us have had any QC issues that seemed to be prevalent early on. No "flexing" back, no light bleed, etc. No offense intended to anyone, but I'm extremely happy to longer have an iPad. It simply isn't my thing. My wife has always used Android and has no desire for an iDevice. That being said, don't expect iPad like battery results. She charges hers every night because she uses it throughout the day. It charges very slow, but isn't a concern for either of us. I'm still waiting on the oem cover for mine. It's fantastic to use when reading books. My only complaint is that I cannot use my TiVo app to stream or watch recorded programming from our DVR because I'm rooted. That certainly isn't the fault of the Nexus 9 though. I simply can't use the N9 stock (visual impairment...material design white...cannot read anything on white background) I'm sure there are other things I'm forgetting about, if you have any more questions, hit me up. If you're talking about using the LG Flash Tool in combo with a .tot, then yes, it's a complete, back to 100% stock.

No problem. I paid full price for it on launch day (hate subsidies) and have absolutely no regrets. Make sure you don't take any ota's and get Stump root then Bump TWRP Let me know if you have any questions.

Spence,If you're asking if paying $250 is a good deal then no it isn't. It's a great deal and snatch it up.

Nope, no lollipop yet. I'm fairly certain this will be our last update before lollipop. Is entirely possible this update is needed to prep G3's for lollipop Still no noticeable changes so far running ZV6.

I flashed the system, boot, and modem images for ZV6 last night. One thing I've noticed so far is the brief screen redraws have disappeared. From my brief use it appears the radio (LTE) has not been adversely effected. BTW, this isn't lollipop, still 4.4.2.
  18. Not complaining... this is a nice gesture. I would also greatly appreciate $100 off an unsubsidized device. I've been with Sprint since 2000. Would think with the number of handsets Sprint purchases, they could get a discount and pass a bit of that onto a loyal customer. Just a thought.
  19. I F'n KNEW you would be the one to correct me on this AJ!Other people can call it Joe's, but I will always call them Oklahoma Joe's. Although I personally can't stand Oklahoma.
  20. As a Kansas City resident, barbeque lover (Oklahoma Joes), and happy Sprint customer I couldn't possibly agree more.

I'll try to make this brief. Mom is having a horrible time with dropped calls at home on her G3. Seemingly no issues while travelling. Her towers have upgraded backhaul. Currently they are 3G only. I am visiting her this weekend and I hope to be able to see what is going on. Her numerous calls to Sprint have concluded with a credit and a rep or supervisor telling her that it's a capacity issue on her home tower(s). I'm not sure if she has setup wifi calling properly, but I'm going to try that. She has terrible 1.5mbps internet provided by windstream. Are there any other setting on the phone that I could change that could possibly help this situation out? She updates profile & prl a few times per week. She does have SCP installed. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Yeah, what The Chemist said. The LS990 transmits and receives on different bands/frequencies than other carriers. Best be getting to work on those antennae.
  23. AJ, you and I both know that the Nyquist-Shannon sampling theorem is complete and utter horse dung.
