Regarding your charging port issue floorguy, I've noticed that the usb cable needs to be tilted slightly down to go in smoothly. Ok....that sounded naughty but was unintentional. Or was it?

Keep in mind I have a visual impairment, but I can certainly see this gorgeous screen. That being said, I have not noticed any of the oft-mentioned sharpening. Users are so different with their needs and wants in a device. I couldn't suggest this phone any more. Best of luck with whatever device you choose.

I've been running ART since release day. No freezes. This device has some nifty tools for my visual impairment. I've been camped on B26 since release day as well.

Anyone needing a bit more contrast.... Settings Accessibility Color adjustment Mine is set a little below the camera and it has done wonders.

Interesting indeed. Of course usage varies and signal strength plays a big role in battery usage. I've been off the charger since 5:45am still at 52%. About two and a half hours SOT. I charged once from around 10% to full in under 2 hours.

Wish I knew. My wife has asked me that question at least 50 times over the weekend. Went to my corporate store, bought one for me and a gold one for mom. Both receipts show $499. It was early, maybe a glitch in Sprint's system? I just kept my mouth shut and walked out the door [emoji3]

Stellar camera. LG keyboard is extremely good. Running ART, no issues with any apps. I'm visually impaired and need high contrast to use a device. With all the talk about dim and low contrast display on the G3, all I can say is this display is fantastic and this "blind" guy has no issues with it. Extremely impressed. Bonus: expected to pay $599, it rang up @$499. $150 Amex rebate to follow. Signal strength seems very solid as well.

Concerning SCP not displaying band info....I guess it's gotta be an issue with my home tower. I'll update prl and profile and give it another go.

How are you guys checking which band you're on? Signal check pro isn't/can't display that info and I can't access the engineering screen either.

Appreciate the fast responses in regards to the sd card slot. It appears as if my card unseated. I probably didn't have it in there securely the first time. Has anyone come across any dialer codes for the engineering screen? Signal Check Pro doesn't/can't display the frequency of LTE I'm on. Thanks again

Where in the bloody heck do I insert the sd card? There is a place where I think it goes, but there is a small white card-type thing already in there. I'm assuming that is the micro sim. I absolutely see no place to insert the sd card. Appreciate the help. Skid

I could use some advice. We switched to Framily on Monday, July 7. It does not go into effect until my next billing cycle, August 4. I *think* I can still upgrade to the G3 via Best Buy. $99 minus $50 best buy freedom upgrade gift card minus $50 best buy gift card Out the door with paying sales tax. or 599.99 from Sprint minus $150 American Express gift card (rebate) I'm going to pay off the device in full once we get our first Framily bill. Which deal is better? If I purchase through Best Buy, am I paying Best Buy's full cost of device or Sprint's full cost of device? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Rocket, I'm interested in the $150 rebate for the G3. Do the stores have the proper info to give to the customer? One other question, if paying via Easy Pay, can I go back into the store and pay it off in full at any time? Thanks Rocket Skid

For those of you who desire to modify your G3... It appears as if @utoprime (autoprime) and team have successfully loaded TWRP onto one of the variants. If history is any indicator, Sprint G3 owners may have the ability to mod their G3's soon. Sorry, so lazy not to post link. XDA G3 > General > Bootloader Bounty

The $150 gift card is for those purchasing via Easy Pay. The $75 gift card is for signing up new Sprint customers to your Framily. Hopefully mrrogers will read this and decide he and the other Team d3rp members can't live without the G3 and develop for it. I'd like a 6.5" flagship device but don't think we'll ever see one.
