  1. I'm only speaking to capturing HDR+.....There is going to be lag. Takes a lot of processing power to capture those shots. On my 6P? Not as much but you should be expecting lag with HDR+.
  2. I don't believe you're stupid. So why the question? You know exactly who he's talking about.
  3. You definitely have a thing for cables.I've found the supplied cable has been the only cable necessary so far. That does include drives over 3 hours running GPS and streaming/podcasts simultaneously. Prospective buyers: You don't HAVE to sink a bunch of dough on new cables.
  4. Nope. Sure as shit don't.Death to subsidies!
  5. I ordered the V5 nano sim through international chat. A better bet would be took go to your nearest Best Buy and pay $10 for the correct sim. Then start a chart with a Sprint rep and they should get you taken care of. Took me maybe all of 5 minutes. I've got a 32GB aluminium version. According to SCP I'm getting slightly better RF numbers than my previous LG G3. I'm extremely happy with the 6P's RF performance. Living in the KC area there is an abundance of 2xCA, so maintaining a dependable data signal is not an issue. As mentioned by others WiFi performance is excellent. Bluetooth performance is solid with fast connections and no disconnections since pairing with a speaker, headphones, soundbar, and 2 vehicles. Great call quality with both speakerphone and normal speaker. I'm quite pleased I'm getting voicemail notifications promptly. This was a concern because I didn't want the extra overhead of Google Voice. The vibration motor is absolutely perfect. I'm spoiled now with the vibration feedback the 6P has. GPS locks instantly and is accurate. Thought I was going to have to get a bunch of cables for charging but so far I have only needed the supplied fast charger. I run my screen at around 90, maybe a touch higher and the last battery cycle I was a few minutes over 6 hours screen on time. I purchased the frost/clear Adopted case (19.99) and it is great! Provides some protection and noticeably more grip. Ambient display is slow. Thinking of disabling it until improvements can be made in its response time. Hopefully this info helps someone considering a 6P. I really really like this phone. It's my first Nexus phone and there is 0 chance I'd ever go back to a carrier branded or subsidized handset. Robert, I'm pulling for you and hope you get the outcome you're looking for in a timely manner. Just made me sick to my stomach when I read what happened to yours. FWIW, I think you done the right thing by telling the truth. Situations like yours, and being dishonest is a slippery slope. Once you lie about something like that it gets a little easier each time. YOU know it would have been BS and that's what matters. Just my .02. Best of luck!
  6. Robert, Can you share the charger you spoke of earlier? I'm too lazy to find the quote right now. I'm taking my heart medication in anticipation of tonight's Game 5 at Citi Field.
  7. Is anyone using ambient display? Can you tell me how it's supposed to work? I don't believe it's working like I think it should. If the display is off and I pick it up, shouldn't the display light up and show the lockscreen? Thanks!
  8. Slightly creepy I live only a few miles from Patriot. AJ, What are your thoughts on the possibility of the engineering screens showing more info in the future? Is this a Huawei or Google issue? (Not showing any info) Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  9. You're a gentleman and a scholar.Humble thanks. Navigation is quite weird in this aop. However the 6P is absolutely delightful! Had to chat with Sprint customer service to activate. Simply a breeze. Extremely impressed with the 6P. Coming from a G3. Still have a lot of installing and setting up to do. No brainer to buy this phone is you prefer big displays. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  10. Guess this will apply since I'm posting with my 6P. Using the latest Tapatalk, how in the world do you change the font size? Very poor eyes. Sent from my Nexus 6P using Tapatalk
  11. Congrats Robert! I just took a look at the tracking number and supposedly it's at my house just sitting all alone on my front porch.
  12. #FirstWorldProblems I feel ya though Robert. After last nights thrilling World Series game one victory by our Kansas City Royals, being at work right now is difficult. I ***may*** have time to get a nap in by the time my 6P gets here later today and before game 2. Edit: Confirmed. On the truck for delivery
  13. Can anyone chime in on whether or not we can activate online or do we need to call/chat customer service?
  14. Shipping Should receive my 32GB Aluminum tomorrow. Can we activate online or is calling/chatting a necessity?
  15. @Ascertion Anything to share concerning the visual voicemail capabilities of Marshmallow?
  16. I'm used to using Sprint's VVM for voicemail. Obviously that won't be an option moving forward with the N6P. Could you all share what you prefer to use for voicemail on a Nexus device? Thanks
  17. This most certainly is NOT the correct answer. You need a 4FF Nano CSIM V5.
  18. Cletus, Your post about twist-to-camera...do you know if the Nexus is going to incorporate any of Moto's display features? Such as turning on the screen for notifications? If so, does the super amoled screen make a difference when lighting the display just for notifications?
  19. Case & adapter went pending pretty much right away when I ordered them on 09.29. 6P just went pending earlier today. Ordered 09.29, shipping date of 10.30-11.02. I'm ashamed I'm caught up a bit in the hype train. This shipping/pending, etc. doesn't matter at all. We'll get the stuff when we get it. But the exchange of info is at least SOME info. I'm like a fat kid in a candy store when I open up Tapatalk and see there are unread posts in this thread.
  20. Reading through Twitter last night as our Royals eliminated the Astros in a thrilling series... I came across a click-bait post from Android Central about 5 Reasons to get the Note 5 over the Huawei Nexus 6P. I normally don't read through comments from any tweets, however, I did on this one and found the following reply to a comment very interesting. "Stay tuned. Might have something more your speed on Monday then." I'm sure it's just me being bored and grabbing at straws, but I'm thinking the embargo lifts Monday, 10.19. Who knows, maybe just maybe they'll start shipping early. Thoughts?
  21. I'm thinking reviews next week shipping to begin 10.26. Stay strong Robert. This chicken will be worth it.
  22. To expound on AJ's "don't sweat the small stuff" statement. I ordered a SIM through international chat. When reading the confirmation email I noticed they sent a 2FF USIM. Told myself I would try chat 1 more time to get the right part. If that was unsuccessful, I was gladly going to pay the $10 at Best Buy. Possibly banging your head against a wall, trying to order a SIM for a phone you've spent at least 4 bills on and ya can't scrounge another $10? Ok.
