  1. Sprint already said they will add another 20 mhz to band 41 this year and another 20 mhz by mid 2015. Looks to Me tmobile will end as last in speed.
  2. http://www.fiercewireless.com/story/t-mobile-fccs-tentative-aws-3-spectrum-auction-rules-favor-verizon-att/2014-03-19 Tmobile is already crying about it.
  3. http://www.strategyanalytics.com/default.aspx?mod=SA&a0=R28Feb14 http://www.ubergizmo.com/2014/03/strategy-analytics-sprint-will-be-king-of-data-speed-soon/ It's all about timing, but when they execute a robust TDD network all hell will break loose.
  4. Ah my dream has come true.Azi was a poor excuse as a network executive. Sprint two main problems are gone (the marketing and network teams.Son doesn't play ball at all.
  5. Sprint is spending about $7 billion this year on network construction, refitting its former Nextel network and incorporating the added t no one is out of the running, this is going to evolve into an interesting horse race,” Moore said. “T-Mobile has taken the gloves off, and Sprint’s going through a transitional period right now, but what we see with their new Spark network could be a game changer.” To contact the reporter even they admit that band 41 will be a game changer.
  6. http://video.cnbc.com/gallery/?video=3000249187 Here is Hesse talking about sprint spending 35 billions in 5 years building a new network.
  7. I did a speed test around my area ( morningside heights) I got 36 down and 35 up in my galaxy 4.
  8. I dont think the feds will allow that merger to happen anyways. It is so obvious McAdam would love to grab that T-MOBILE AWS spectrum. Now in fairness I would force verizon to divest some of the 850mhz cellular spectrum.
  9. Perhaps I am connected to the AWS band since I get over 30 megabits down everywhere, but I have seen the 70 and 80 megabits down 8nly in Midtown Manhattan. Now how do you get to the engineering screen 5o see which band you are connected to?
  10. I got the GS4 on Verizon here in new york city, and I have seen the AWS on action in small parts of midtown Manhattan only. I have not seen those ridiculous speeds in uptown or other boroughs yet.
  11. I doubt the Fcc and the DOJ allow this to happen. They seem to love what tmobile is doing with disrupting the market.
  12. Still I wouldn't want a Sprint partnership with Dish. They tried to sabotage the Softbank and Clearwire deals. Uncle Charlie and wall street should go after T-Mobile, and leave Sprint the heck alone.
  13. Wow they act like tmobile is the holy grail of wireless. If these fools would learn some business 101 they would understand that John Lengere was hired to turn around tmobile and make it atractive for a potential sale.
  14. Nah , the trolls spend most of their time in tech blogs such as endgadget and the verge. Once someone link that article( any moment) to those sites he trolls will go into attack.
  15. http://www.tmonews.com/2013/11/how-long-until-t-mobile-is-3/ The homeboys at that site believe they will overtake Sprint soon. Regardless I believe Sprint needs to buy U.S cellular to improve coverage in certain areas.
  16. I think Sprint need to light up twc a@@$$ regarding the lack of fiber backhaul especially in lower Manhattan.
  17. Nope, that catn't happen because the iPhone 5c, 5s only have LTE radios for the 800mhz and 1900mhz bands.
  18. Fair enough, but that doesn't matter to the average customer. They care about if their lte phone can be used now, no 3 months down the road. The tmobile CEO is getting in my nerve with his bragging. I wanna see the 800 MHz band fully in new york because that will be the difference. Anyways there is a clear site in 116 street and park avenue, that site operate together with a new sprint network vision site. I believe that is TD LTE live.
  19. I am here in new York and T-Mobile is already eating their lunch. Azzi is the king of excuses, we are practically in august and sprint stuck in a 31%. Sprint problem is they still have the old boys running their network. As far I concerned everyone except Hesse should be let go. T-Mobile is bragging on deployment and fast speeds.
  20. In an ironic twist, it appears that AT&T, one of Sprint's key wireless competitors, will get a big piece of a first round of buildouts, said to involve about a dozen of Sprint's largest, most concentrated markets, including Atlanta, Chicago, Los Angeles, Boston, Washington, D.C., and New York City. "AT&T cleaned house," says a source, noting that AT&T already had an advantage because it had fiber near a lot of the tower locations initially targeted by Sprint. Plus, "AT&T dropped its pants on pricing https://ng.techweb.com/authds/gateway?cas=gatewayReturn&hash=39022a39842f53c033c53f72e2297750
  21. When your leading backhaul vendor is Att communications you have a serious problem on hand. All the backhaul delay is the reason why my market New York City is not even half way LTE deployed.
  22. http://bgr.com/2013/07/15/vz-edge-verizon-early-upgrade-program/
  23. Galaxy note 3 and the new leaked LG optimus G 2( 5+ inches) are the most likely candidates for triband devices coming in September/ October. Sprint gave a hint from day one that tribands devices from Samsung and LG are coming in the Fall.
  24. http://beta.fool.com/alexcho/2013/07/03/sell-att-and-verizon-sprint-has-an-overwhelming-ad/39174/?source=eogyholnk0000001
  25. I have two accounts one is verizon With a RAZR maxx with 4gbs of data and an old evo wimax 4g with sprint(will upgrade once 70% of NYC is network vision is completed. Verizon LTe network is getting saturated already. My speeds in Nyc are in the single digits now.
