  1. What kind of LTE class is sprint using? Class 8 like the twin bells or a higher one?
  2. The funny thing is Sprint launching LTE in a 5x5 channel when the Jesus Phone will be out in October thus becoming an attraction for a lot of new and current customers from other wireless carriers. They better get a lot of capacity than it needs because there will be a big flood of new customers jumping. This will be Sprint last chance to get it right in my opinion, and if they have another PR nightmare regarding their network they will be finished.
  3. Sprint should had skipped the Nexus and the Viper altogether when in reality they don't have LTE network yet.
  4. Sprint releasing two LTE phones next weekend. Does that means some of the early markets will go live in May?
  5. Motorola will put a 3000 Mah on the Phonton 2 watch and see.
  6. Pretty cool article. but in other news Speaking at the Rural Cellular Association meeting this week in Orlando, Sprint's network VP Bob Azzi stated they've got about 5-6,000 employees in the field working on the upgrades, and that they should have six markets up and running on LTE by the middle of the year. 7. There are rumors now that the next Iphone will not work on Sprint LTE PCS band. If that is the case then Sprint signed their own death with that 15 billions dollar contract to Apple.
  8. That means the Texas markets and Atlanta will go LTE live by the end of April or early May. Sprint will over deliver regarding their network vision launch.
  9. When it comes to hardware marketing Apple is the best, but when it comes to wireless marketing Verizon eclipse everyone. I gotta say T mobile is the worse.
  10. I guess Sprint doesn't have a lot of customers in the Phoenix Arizona Market since the 5th largest American city hasn't been announced lol.
  11. No really, but I am losing my faith with Sprint a little bit with their unreliable network. I gotta say that Verizon LTE put ATT LTE to shame here in NYC even though AT&T was launched three months ago.
  12. I tested my Driod RaZR MAXX on eHRPD after turning off the LTE radio and I get 2.5 megabits down during the middle of the day here in NYC. I am keeping my EVO with Sprint to preserve the unlimited data plan, but if Sprint get rid of it I will be done with them. With Verizon you get what you pay for.
  13. Doesn't matter to me since I have to lines (EVO 4G Sprint) and Motorola Razr Maxx Verizon LTE here in NYC). the truth is Verizon LTE network in the 700mhz is already slowing down fast. I guess living in a city with a dense population can destroy any bandwidth regardless of its frequency.
  14. Would this mean Sprint could launch LTE in a bigger 800mhz channel instead of 5x5?
  15. Interesting looking at that map. Sprint started Network vision in between New York and Philly.
  16. Di Didn't you just announced New Orleans. Regardless Sprint was just snubbed from the Ipad 3 today, and if they don't get the big markets done by the end of September they might have an Iphone LTE problem. The funny thing is Apple announced that they had to build two separate Ipad for Verizon and AT&T even though they use the same low 700mhz band. From looking at this I think they will do the same thing with the Iphone.
  17. 20 megabits in an empty network that is not good. If their LTE network turns out 6 to 8 megabits that won't be a big difference because I get over 9 and 10 easily here in NYC using Wimax.
  18. Texas big cities are on schedule for network vision ( Austin Dallas, Houston, and San Antonio. Those cities have at leas 85% or more of Texas population. Sprint priority right now is the Urban areas with a high population rate. Maybe in a few years after they are a profitable company they might expand. I live in NYC which is on schedule for this year, but I wonder why Philadelphia hasn't moved up on the list yet.
  19. Ahh I want that precious 800mhz for LTE , that would make me forget about Verizon 700mhz.
  20. Definitely , and at the same time I will try to chat with one of those engineers.
