  1. The fanboys at tmonews.com assume tmobile will have more money to outbid sprint in the 600mhz auction.
  2. Wheeler has been a shill from day one. He basically killed net neutrality. Softbank don't get it the whole bs of the fcc concerned about 4 wireless players is because the twin bells told this shill to block it. It's not concern about lack of competition.
  3. Garbage article from BGR Gellar and his minions lost its credibility with this: BGR reports: I have been told that Sprint will be getting the iPhone 5 — yes the real iPhone 5, not the iPhone 4S — as an exclusive. And it will be a 4G WiMAX device. AT&T and Verizon would launch the iPhone 4S and get the iPhone 5 some time in the first quarter of next year as an LTE device. Globally, the iPhone 5 might be available as a 4G HSPA+ device. In this scenario, the iPhone 4S Apple will introduce tomorrow will feature the following Hey BGR where is my iPhone 4s with WiMAX.
  4. Those guys at tmonews.com want Leger to be in charge of the new company which I don't agree with. They think he has done miracles when in reality all those uncarriers moves are marketing ploy to grab market share, and make a sale more attractive. The reality is those are not moves for long term since shareholders want a return plus it takes billions on Capex to keep a network running smooth. I hear the same thing on every tech blog, I agree with the merger if Leger stay in charge. I can't wait for their numbers tomorrow, not the new subscribers count, but revenue and profit.
  5. Timing is not the excuse. I believe if the projection of losing 800k postpaid customers the articles would had been up already. Right now they are in the editing room trying to come with a spin. I bet tmobile earnings article will be up by 7 am tomorrow.
  6. I am talking about the verge and endgaget.
  7. Sprint post a profit for the first time in years, a lot of good news from the network to smaller customers lost. The funny thing not a single article in any of the major tech blogs yet. The bias against sprint is stronger what I thought.
  8. This is where band 41 will pay dividends for sprint well sort of, because if the merger go through then that goofy tmobile ceo will take the credit. Data usage will keep going up even for casual users, but all the data hogs are now residents of Pinkville. WWireless users that are data hogs give you clues like 20 megabits down is terrible sprint you sucks etc etc.
  9. Darn, I hate this company becoming that pink girly carrier that is full of data hogs. Sprint finally have a great network guy on John Saw, now the mangeta fan boys will take the credit for the new network.
  10. Why Dish network is talking about spectrum when they haven't even begun building a network. This is what piss me off, companies like Dish wants to grab more airwaves when they don't even have a network in place. Then I hear Dish talking about the 600mhz auction which to me they should be blocked from bidding on it. I don't want sprint to cut deals with Uncle Charlie when he was responsible for driving up the clearwire price.
  11. The pink tmobile fans need to kiss goodbye to those uncarrier promos because a combined company would carry 77 billions in debt thus shareholders would be calling for Masa head.
  12. Masa Son is wasting his time. The regulators (unless you are comcast) will not approve this merger. The merger will not go through, the FCC will lift up the 600mhz spectrum screen, and Verizon alone with Att will grab it all.
  13. Twc cable is upgrading their service here in New York city to something called maxx.I live in Manhattan uptown and my service has been upgraded from the mediocre standard internet 15/1 to 100/10 $57.They are upgrading all the Hubs one at the time. Some of my friends in Astoria Old plans new plans Low tier 2/1 3/1 Basic 3/1 10/1 Standard 10/1 50/5 Turbo 20/2 100/10 Extreme 30/5 200/20 Ultimate 50/5 300/20 Anyone that wants the ultimate 200/20 or ultimate 300/20 needs a 16 channels bonded modem. The prices will stay the same but you will be upgraded automatically to the new speeds.
  14. Verizon and AT&T get plenty of hate ,but for their prices and policies not because of service. That is the sprint problem their service.
  15. Th better get rid of that girly image (pink colors). They should adopt silver and gray in part with its parent company.
  16. The sprint name is toxic.they better drop the name, colors and adapt SoftBank U.S.A with the white and silver colors. They should do that once they finish their whole network build out including the 2.5ghz.
  17. I thought Nokia Siemens will deploy sprint 8x2 mimo in the 2.5ghz band. I need clarification on this. Also I don't know much of the tech but I am seeing former clear wire sites with big radios behind the panels in New York city. I know it has to do with TDD LTE.
  18. At some point a merger with Dish will make sense? Oh please nobody wants to deal with uncle Charlie, and sprint has plenty of spectrum in the 2.5 band. So if this tech is the real deal for long term sprint could cut a deal with the maker of its particular tech.
  19. MEMO to Masa Son remove those ridiculous ads with talking animals. Yes those ads work in Japan but they don't work here. You see the tech blogs are making fun of it plus you give that tmobile ceo more material. The previous ads were terrible and the new ones are beyond terrible.
  20. Vodafone ticks higher amid SoftBank rumors; Sprint, T-Mobile lower 10:45 AM ET • SFTBF With all signs suggesting U.S. regulators remain opposed to a Sprint/T-Mobile USA merger in spite of Masayoshi Son's PR campaign, rumors have emerged SoftBank (SFTBF) will turn its sights on acquiring Vodafone (VOD +0.9%) if its efforts to fuse the #3 and #4 U.S. carriers are thwarted. It's worth noting Vodafone ($96B market cap) would be much harder for SoftBank ($87B) to digest than T-Mobile ($26B). If it was to try, SoftBank would doubtlessly make use of its 37% stake in soon-to-be-public Alibaba (could have a $50B+ pre-tax value). Sprint (S -2.6%) and T-Mobile (TMUS -1.5%) are seeing SO now they want to focus in a bigger fish.
  21. Sprint and their rural partners should go like gangsters for the 600mhz.at minimum they need to get a 10x10 channel and if it's possible they could go further.
  22. Who care if sprint show 2.6gb in a lab. Sprint pr and management are so inept. Those type of things are kept in the lab not doing some stupid press conference in Frisco about plans for the future. You keep thing under wrap then when the network is fully upgraded everywhere with the appropriate backhaul then you have a press conference then announce as a today sprint offer 300 megabits down in the top 150 markets in America. That is a called catching the competition by surprise. You don't show your competition what you plan to do you stab them from behind.
  23. http://www.lightreading.com/mobile/4g-lte/sprint-loses-its-small-cell-guru/d/d-id/708361 Seems to me Masa is cleaning house.
  24. http://bgr.com/2014/03/24/verizon-att-vs-t-mobile-spectrum/ Looks like they are bribing everyone.
  25. Sprint should had left the 4G icon for 1900 mhz lte and the 4G LTE for band 41. USA another pathetic decision by sprint network and handsets dept. These idiots keep screwing things up.The average Joe doesn't know what is band 41, so putting that hideous spinning icon is a waste of time.
