  1. That has to be the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard! -Anthony
  2. My family does BYOD because we buy sim-free iPhones now. My father doesn't want to be on contract anymore, and will be going 2+ years between upgrades, so he's perfectly content paying full price for our iPhones and only paying 45 per line for our Framily plan. It's the easiest way to do phone purchases for us. -Anthony
  3. In order to see what dBm you are receiving on a device post-iOS 9, you have to go to Field Test, then exit out of field test and look at your status bar quickly while it still shows the dBm before it changes back to dots. -Anthony
  4. In my opinion, and I feel that most of us feel this way, is if all you get enough time for is to fix the Notificatiom Center widget (if it's even possible), then that would be more than enough for us. -Anthony
  5. As you said, there hasn't been enough time yet to tell, but I'll be sure to pay attention to it over the next few days. -Anthony
  6. I had the same thing happen to me this afternoon. -Anthony
  7. When I went and looked at the specs on Wilson's website, it says that it comes with 75 ohm coax. -Anthony
  8. I don't think it's because you failed as a parent, it's more along the lines of this generation (which, sadly, I'm a part of ) has a very big problem with seeing the big picture. Your son, like many others, doesn't care that these "free" things actually have a cost. No, all they care about is the fact that it benefits themselves at this particular point on time. It's very short-sighted, and it greatly worries me that someday I'm going to be living in a world ran by these people. My hope is that it is just a byproduct of not being mature enough to completely understand it. -Anthony
  9. I'm still on my first 6 Plus. Had it since March. -Anthony
  10. Hmm, I would say it could be an eCSFB issue, but considering the iPhone 5 can't connect, which doesn't need eCSFB, then it leaves me wondering what else it could be. I can't think of what it is. -Anthony
  11. Yeah if the only band deployed in your area is Band 26 then your mother's iPhone won't be able to connect to it since it is single band. -Anthony
  12. He is saying that EVDO is at -98 when B26 drops off. It'll go from a -118 B26 signal to a -98 EVDO signal. -Anthony
  13. Guys, you're gonna give AJ an aneurism with all of these speed tests that you're running. But seriously, let's not start and abuse this privilege that we have (finally) gained. -Anthony
  14. That's exactly the problem I was having while traveling through West Virginia and Virginia. -Anthony
