  1. The thing is, on the iPhone, 1x800, or Band Class 10, comes up as "Secondary 800 MHz band[10]" whereas his screenshots say 800 MHz cellular band, which on the iPhone comes up as band class 0, and is used by Verizon and many other carriers, but AFAIK, not Sprint. The Field Test screen seems like it may be bugged and is displaying older info/mixed info, which wouldn't surprise me considering how buggy it is. -Anthony
  2. First, this better belongs in the iPhone thread(s). And second, what would you like to know? -Anthony
  3. It appears as if they are coming to that conclusion because T-Mobile has won/shared 1st place in more markets. Though I'm pretty sure that RootMetrics determines who comes in what place based on multiple other factors, rather than total market wins. -Anthony
  4. "Home and Lock Screen" is screen on time. "Usage" time is also loosely related to screen-on time, but if you're listening to music while the device is locked, that will be counted as "Usage" time too. -Anthony
  5. Went from 55051 to 54052 on my iPhone 6 Plus. Interesting. -Anthony
  6. I didn't get one of those Lol. Maybe it's because I have a 6 and not a 6s? I haven't been following the issue very closely since I haven't been having any problems. -Anthony
  7. I think if Sprint put equipment on ~50% of the Nextel sites that they aren't colocated on already, it would make they're network very competitive here. -Anthony
  8. Oh yes, voice/text service is miles better than pre-NV. Data is where the focus needs to be now. -Anthony
  9. BTW, not sure if we've mentioned it before, but there is a new cell site on UNCC's campus, and guess who's on it?? Not Sprint! But T-Mobile, AT&T and maybe Verizon are on it/will be on it. I'm hoping that Sprint hops on it eventually when NGN kicks into gear here, because God knows that we could use the coverage/capacity! Link to the post from IT Services for UNCC talking about it: http://itservices.uncc.edu/itconnections-stories/issue/new-cell-tower -Anthony
  10. Welcome to the area where I work and play Lol -Anthony
  11. Man, T-Mobile doesn't even have 700 here in Charlotte, and they're still miles better than Sprint. I can only imagine how much they're network here will improve with 700. -Anthony
  12. I've had no problems (at least, no more problems than usual ) on LTE at UNCC. Everything is working as normal as ever for me. -Anthony
  13. He is also referring to all of the LTE Bands as "Band Class xx" -Anthony
  14. NGN should touch all parts of the Charlotte market, including the Hickory area. I live in the suburbs of Charlotte, so I'm looking forward to the upgrades and expansion that will come with NGN. We'll get some love SoonTM. -Anthony
  15. Most likely Sprint will start giving our area some attention when NGN kicks into high gear. Charlotte isn't really a priority market so they haven't been doing much here as of late, but NGN will be nationwide so we will have to wait until then to get some upgrades going. -Anthony
  16. I know of 1.4 MHz LTE carriers. I'm saying that the 1x carrier is more efficient for that spectrum slice than an LTE carrier. -Anthony
  17. When it comes time for that, the 1x sliver will most likely be in SMR because with one 5x5 carrier deployed, the remaining spectrum will really only be useful for 1x versus more LTE. -Anthony
  18. It depends on if they deem it reparable or not. I have had a couple of experiences where just the glass is damaged but they say that it's not reparable. -Anthony
  19. I would get it replaced if I was you, but more than likely, the replacement device will have a newer iOS version on it. -Anthony
  20. That's very odd. I have had no problems whatsoever. -Anthony
  21. I didn't think it was possible to have that high of an upload speed? -Anthony
  22. Yes but if Band 26 is the only band that your device is currently able to receive, then there is no other band for it to offload to. -Anthony
  23. I'm not really having issues. I get the occasional hang up, but other than that, it's good. -Anthony
  24. Nokia does the 8T8R equipment in Ericsson areas, and Ericsson does the NV (dual mode B25/B26) equipment. -Anthony
