  1. That's understandable....@ the very least, you can be at ease knowing that its coming very soon..
  2. You should consider upgrading to sponsorship so you can see exactly where NV upgrades are in LI, cause there is plenty..also on a side note i went to LI a couple of weeks ago..exit 49S..and had GREAT 3G speeds
  3. i did a side by side comparison Tmobile vs Sprint..both in decent signal areas. Even tho his max throughput was higher (15mb down on tmobile vs 10mb down on sprint) My phone always loaded every page and every video faster! 500 vs 30 pings really surprised him, but that's pretty much what I expected.
  4. Well then @ that point it would depend on how much data your requesting. If its something small...you would get it faster with lower pings...If its something larger, then you would be @ the knees of the actual throughput.
  5. Pretty much same here....Just got back from Cross County Shopping Center, 3G was unusable..
  6. I picked up LTE in Jersey City off the Holland Tunnel...Sadly, im pretty sure this is also bleedover from downtown Manhattan. On a brighter note I got great 3G speeds around baldwin and 139..1.5mb down/900k up; 80ping..
  7. I dont know what you can really do beyond emailing with 1x (only because it will queue up your email after you send it off)
  8. BTW, your phone (iphone 5, if your profile is correct) DOES support 800Mhz SMR (1x/voice)
  9. Edited my post to reflect that, yes this is correct...but its soo hard to even think that 1x is even usable these days...
  10. Take a look @ the FAQ posted above, there are a ton of phones that support 800 SMR (for voice/1x, not LTE) Also, there is alot of talk around the forum mentioning sprints decision to wait for 2600Mhz spectrum to be at there disposal to deploy triband phones and not just dual..hopefully sooner than later
  11. I dont know where you mostly use your data services, but if its mostly in queens I could understand your skepticism about the 48%. But in the Bronx and north of 59 street, south of 34th street of Manhattan and a good part of BK..48% doesn't seem that unreasonable. One thing is certain, they are still testing, so not all of those sites are on all the time.
  12. Everyday it seems to be a bit more consistent..its not perfect but its less spotty as time goes on..
  13. My Bad Mod, I should have known that would happen...just seems like we all know each other on this thread...just feels right...LOL
  14. NOPE! unfortunately that might have to wait till next gen, GS4 is on the same boat
  15. how awesome is this...right @ home! haha! http://s4gru.com/index.php?/blog/1/entry-342-updated-all-for-htc-one-htc-one-for-all/
  16. Also for those that are concerned about the differences between the ATT and Sprint versions are only the radios. Everything else is almost identical. On a side note, this is also the first sprint next gen phone with GSM sim support for world roaming which is awesome for those that want to travel with there phones!
  17. Check out this great review here! http://www.theverge.com/2013/4/8/4196446/htc-one-att-lte-review
  18. Pixel density is slightly higher on the HTC, (i believe its the highest in the world as of today) but its a very negligible amount.
  19. Unfortunately most people barely realize HTC exist, that was pretty evident this morning when i went to grab the phone, it was a ghost town..and according to the person that took care of me they are expecting a huge showing for the GS4.
  20. Without getting into too much detail about the screen, Samsung is still using super Amoled which uses PenTile. vs SuperLCD 3 on the HTC
  21. Yes that is a big minus, but i am really banking on signal strength finally stabilizing and improving battery life on a day to day basis
  22. Build quality, better screen and the speakers on this thing are crazy! The only thing i am weary about is the battery life since i had an extended 4000mAH battery on GS3
  23. So far so good awesome phone...screen is great and build quality is amazing. As long as you can live with 32gb, and no removable battery your golden..
