  1. Curious if we will see the 12GB Ram 1TB storage with ceramic on carriers. Also, if it's indeed real ceramic, how will that affect RF performance.
  2. Wonder if VoLTE will be on it right out of the gate?
  3. It's that time of the year boys. Since so many leaks were out, seems Samsung bit the bullet and is doing the preorder early.. https://www.samsung.com/us/mobile/reserve/?CID=afl-ecomm-cjn-cha-092118-52057&cjevent=813fd8e62f9b11e9836801c50a24060f Just did the preorder, since they are doing 550 plus 50 credit for my current phone, its low risk.
  4. Sprint rep went on the verge podcast to address the lawsuit.. https://www.theverge.com/podcasts
  5. You don't have any issue with the notification animation from the lock screen being choppy?
  6. Pretty happy with the update so far, the only bug i've run into is super low FPS while bringing down the notification shade while on the lock screen.

  8. Note 9 One UI Update is available!!!
  9. I'm willing to bet that Samsung was more concerned with getting Pie out as soon as possible despite of any other features that are carrier specific.
  10. Android 9 is finally live for Sprint GS9 users, so the big question is.. VoLTE?
  11. Here it comes! https://www.phonearena.com/news/U.S.-carrier-branded-2018-Samsung-flagship-models-should-receive-Pie-soon_id113179
  12. Finally coming! https://www.phonearena.com/news/U.S.-carrier-branded-2018-Samsung-flagship-models-should-receive-Pie-soon_id113179
  13. Wouldn't it make sense to reach out to the folks that run the 1Million project at Sprint considering the circumstances, not to mention the level of complexity involved in deploying the network and its ecosystem.
  14. Don't want to side track convo, just curious to know what kind of speeds your seeing from that site considering its broadcasting 2xCA with what looks like relay backhaul (probably upgraded to wired backhaul)
  15. Something really interesting just happened north of 170th st. EARFCN just got pushed up from 41078/41276 to 41292/41490. This could signal the deployment of a third carrier finally coming. This would be huge considering this affects everything north of 170th street (in the Bronx, Manhattan, Yonkers, Scarsdale etc) are currently limited to just two B41 carriers. So be on the lookout for the third carrier north of 170th st.
  16. Small cell installation happening in the Bronx!
  17. Awesome! https://twitter.com/walkermarka/status/1082634422493634560
  18. You 100% sure its Clearwire? The reason I ask is because SCP's ID (GCI is correct) gotten stuck on the couple of versions. Use engineering screen to verify the PLMN.
  19. https://www.pcmag.com/news/365642/at-ts-first-5g-speed-tests-look-uninspiring
  20. Funny enough these are faster than what I've seen from Att's "5G"
  21. Most definitely would be ideal for mmw. But isn't TMobile's mmw holdings pretty meager at this point. They could potentially keep the current B41 on most of those sites and replace them with mmw and 2.5 5G equipment eventually. Luckily, upgrades for these SC should be pretty straight forward as long as they are fiber fed.
  22. One thing that we are not taking into account is Sprint's 30k small cells. Since 800 was never on those sites(and never will), I do expect those sites will help in urban and suburban settings. But rural areas are somewhat screwed if 1x goes away.
  23. Also keep in mind, it is self optimizing. So you need to let it be for at least a week untouched for it to settle in with its surrounding sites. If your constantly rebooting it it will never complete its optimization.
  24. While it (MB3) can pick up the full 3xCA 4x4MIMO and 256QAM from the macro site, Its limited to a single B41 carrier for the UE side. So around 110mbs. It's more about broadcasting a new clean B41 signal much deeper indoors than the signal from the tower can provide, at the same time improving battery life since its no longer hunting for different sectors and/or macro sites. But if your already seeing great speeds from the macro site everywhere indoors, your just adding latency and lowering your speeds. If you have other locations where you don't have great signal, you might want to consider moving it there.
  25. VoLTE should hit the Pixel 3 soon. So that's something.
