Yeah, st croix has had lte a few months now, out of the 5 towers on that island 3 have been upgraded. As for st thomas/st john, out of the 8 towers on stt and the 1 tower on stj, 3 towers on stt has been upgraded to lte since last monday. Hopefully the remaining towers won't take too much longer.

Ok, using the signal check app, when I am not connected to lte it shows connected to ehrpd and 1x but when I am connected to lte it just shows for the connection to lte and says no connection to ehrpd and 1x.

I have no connectivity issues(including LTE) what so ever, mine was set at global out of the box as well and I left it that way.

So I had a full day to use my new nexus 5 and I am loving it so far. Using this and my One side by side, I would say that battery life is about the same on both devices. This device is so snappy its unreal but honestly when I go back to the One it feels just as snappy to me so maybe all this talk about high end specs can finally be put to rest. As far as camera, honestly I think the One owns the nexus 5 in every conceivable category, in my opinion its not even close. I probably took 200 pics/videos today using both devices and to me the One just beats it. Speakers are great for what they are but this is something else that the One is far better at as well. I also think that the One still has the best screen thats out right now. As for 4.4 kitkat, I love the google integration, it makes everything so simple and easy to use and easy to get to but what most important to me though is rf performance. Now when it comes to 1x/3g/lte it straight up kills my One. The rf differences between both devices on 1x/3g aren't that significant to complain about but the difference between lte is ridiculous. My nexus was easily averaging 10 to 15dbm's better than my One in every situation I could put both devices in, it was shocking to see in all honesty and to be quite frank I am totally impressed. The rf performance alone is worth the $350 price tag.

Most oem's focus on low and mid range phones with a couple of flagships per year.

Did you try hard resetting your phone? If you did and its still doing the same thing then it sounds like the digitizer is going out. I love my One but the only thing I don't like is the inability to do any basic repairs yourself due to the uni-body design. Anyway, hope the next one you get works great.

Got my nexus yesterday so my urge to splurge has subsided for now. I will just wait for successor to the One which I am sure will be out in another 5 months or so.

That area is still covered by the same tower that sits on top of the house in Anna's retreat so that area had lte from when that tower went live early last week. As a matter of fact, that same tower is providing lte from sugar bay to right before you get to raphune hill. Once you go over raphune hill the other tower over looking CAHS is what you will connect to for lte.

Well my nexus it out for delivery so I should be getting it sometime today, I also got tracking info for the two sims I ordered and should have those by tomorrow or thursday.

I have had a few cars over the years but I simply refuse to get rid of my 1999 Civic Si(bought brand new in 1999). Currently it's boosted with about 400whp and I still get 30 miles to the gallon when I am not driving the hell out of it. I am much older now so I feel bad driving it when I do, LOL, but it is so fun to drive though. I mostly drive my girls car if I need to go anywhere. I am a huge fan of bmw's so that will probably be my next purchase, maybe a year old m3, not sure if I will be able to afford the 2014 m4. My dream car would probably be anything ferrari but more specifically the ferrari F70(LaFerrari).

My material of choice when it comes to cases is tpu, this is the first time I have used a tpu/leather hybrid. I just got it in the mail a few moments ago and the entire case is tpu with the leather portion glued to the back of it. I am not rough on phones so for me it should last a while.

1900 being good enough would really depend on where you live. Also the fact that the moto x is single bad makes it a non purchase most that consider themselves wireless enthusiasts but for your average consumer it probably won't make a difference until they get more educated on the matter.
