It's all about personal preference but I like the look of the hk version slightly better than the gunmetal.

For me the m8 has been a fantastic device so far, no complaints at all. I also think the hk color with the glossy black and gold speaker grills looks great.

They are also getting an lg or samsung smartwatch today as well. I would love to attend one of these events but it ain't cheap.

Well in some cases there has been an issue where there is some sort of film on the camera lens, I don't know if this is your case but this has happened to me as well. What I did was keep the lens wet with alcohol and basically scraped the lens with my fingernail until it came off. You can also use a cloth with a mild abrasive like toothpaste for example and it should get it off as well. Try that and see how it goes. Anyway after doing this, my camera lens was as good as new.

Its basically a much more durable version of the current model. As far as cases, I would assume that since this is more durable its also going to be slightly larger so no chance of current gs5 cases working on this.

He said on any triband phone( a phone that supports band 25, 26 and 41). The m7 is only a single band phone, it only supports one lte band which is band 25. All triband devices so far only support one transmission path, which means it can only connect to one at a time, so when you get a call it disconnects from lte to go to 1x and when you finish the call it disconnects from 1x and reconnects to lte, never both at the same time which is what you see on signal check. The m7 on the other hand supports two transmission paths thats why you can be on a call and still connect to lte at the same time, thats not the case with a triband device like the m8, g2 and gs5. Edit: (the blind leading the blind) This is another reason why there are so many complaints when dealing with customer service, a lot of this stuff just don't make sense to the average consumer and to make it even worse a lot of this same stuff don't make sense to your average customer service rep either. So unless you get with someone that really knows their stuff(which is rare to be honest) they would just exchange the phone out for you not realizing that there isn't anything wrong with the device at all because they don't know how to effectively communicate with the consumer so they could better understand what is actually happening.

It's crazy how there have been so many issues with the m8,thankfully I haven't experienced any of it. As far as testing though, they do quite a bit of testing in real world but for whatever reason something just isn't working out.

Well I am sold on the design of the moto360 more so than what it can do. Now being that I work in a professional environment having a nice watch on my wrist adds to the professional look. I have quite a few different watches that I change between including a few movados and this reminds of the movado bold collection. So yeah, functionality isn't quite as important when it comes to this specific item, its all about the design(for me anyway). Once I am not in the office though, I never ever ever wear watches unless its some sort of formal function.

I am not sold on smartwatches but I will definitely get the moto360 mainly because they actually put some thought into the actual design of the device. It really reminds of the movado bold line of watches. I hope the model with the metal band comes in under $300 but it will be getting it regardless.

When it comes to 3g connectivity I don't think you will have much to worry about when it comes to any of those devices. When it comes to lte though, the nexus 5 is easily the best when it comes to lte connectivity then the lg g2 which isn't too far behind then the m8 not being too far behind the g2. Other than that though, I think the m8 is easily the most responsive android device on the market right now hands down. Now that doesn't mean that nexus 5 and the g2 aren't fast because they are but there is just something about sense 6 on the m8 that is just amazingly fluid. The battery life is also outstanding on the g2 and the m8. Just so you know I did have an m7 and I currently carry an m8 and nexus 5, and I do have an lg2 on my 4th line that someone else in the family is using, so I have experience with all these devices. Now of course there are other factors such as pricing and upgrade status. If you are just going to buy something straight up and not worry about an upgrade you can get an g2 brand new or extremely close to brand new for well under $300 on ebay and of course the nexus 5 you can get for $350 at the playstore with the m8 costing you the most off contract. If you are going for an upgrade/contract pricing then you can get an g2 for free and probably the nexus 5 close to free and the m8 for maybe $99 to $199 depending on where you go of course. In my opinion though if price is no issue, I would recommend m8 then the nexus 5 then the g2. The nexus will give you the most flexibility though being that it is truly an unlocked device that supports just about every frequency on almost every carrier. Yes, the m8 is definitely a huge improvement over the m7.

There are apps out there that does this but with you being in airplane mode means none of them will work. I also don't think its possible for sprint to do it on their side. You can probably get what you want through google voice though.

I think the name of the thread can stay until we find out more information about this new device also the plactic m8 (htc one m8 ace) has already been made official. Its basically the same phone without the duo camera, instead opting for a single 13mp camera.
