  1. My m8 worked great on band 26. It could be network related kicking you off due to it not being fully operational. Ericsson was notorious fornthiz, we called them donuts. Basically it would kick you once you got closer to the site. Or if you didnt keep a steady data session.
  2. Are all samsung products having the No neighboring cell no show issue? or is it just the S5? Can't decide if a previous baseband flash could fix it.
  3. im on 1x800 usually at home, band 26 most everywhere else.
  4. Somedays I wish ATT and Verizon would be forced to seel its 850mhz spectrum in areas it has pcs and 700mhz (aws as well) make them pursue Volte devices, and rollout Volte faster. Both sprint and Tmobile could use 5x5mhz chunk of low band nationwide.
  5. Walmart best buy and Target may carry verizon variants. We (target) carries the verison Ipad air 33(whoops 32GB) GB model. Should carry the verizon ipad air 2 as well. But many people forget theae are companies which have to earn money. I even thought it was fishy but my points made it less of a bad att move and a smart att business move.
  6. I can see why the Ipads sold from carrier may be locked down, this case ATT. They lock them down because it cost them money to store the device on their shelves, Pay commission to a Sales Rep. They lock these down to keep a person from coming in, buying one of these that maybe is out of stock everywhere else in town, and taking it to Sprint or ATT, then running the risk of the next person not getting one that makes the company money.
  7. The m8 was a really good phone. Liked it almost more than the nexus 5.
  8. Im seeing less and less differences between phones now. There is a point when a processor upgrade isnt worth it. CA is the biggest step up and my next device will have CA I hope.
  9. Just my experience the s5 is the best RF performance wise on band 26. Havent seen band 41 performance on it yet. Rooting the s5 was really easy with towelroot. And known wasnt tripped.
  10. Just as a recap I will double check again with the Galaxy s5 Neighbor cells, but im always within ears reach of 2-3 sites here. But nothing. Will double check it after work. It might just be not reporting them.
  11. Yeah I figured it was that, but always like to report just in case therebis hope. Maybe with 4.4.4 upcoming or Android L it could be accessed.
  12. So on my galaxy s5 I am not too sure if it is displaying neighboring pci values. I have the setting enabled but have never seen it show up on SCP beta.
  13. yep but I just traded that one for an s5, and its a great phone. Check swappa maybe could find one good deal for around $350.
  14. Yes just expect that if you add it to your sprint account, get insurance, something goes wrong, you will not get a nexus 5 back. Mine got replaced with a single band note 3.
  15. Just to notebthe nexus 5 is end of life in sprint stores. Youd have to buy from google, or 3rd party. But the nexus was a great device while it lasted in my arsenal.
  16. No the comments on the OP article. Lol
  17. Nope nexus 5 had great rf elsewhere. My house is an RF black hole. Even found in Target I get LTE almost everywhere as I used to not get barely any.
  18. Only in the right window or place in my house. Never while using it in my room. This is the best rf performer ive had.
  19. oh I understand that feeling. Target wifi sucks so im forced to 3g/fringe LTE. Target kills all LTE inside.
  20. holy cow 40-50 hours a week on Mobile? Do you not have HSI?
  21. Its not a competition for highest data usage, just showing my result of not being throttled. And for most americans that is alot of usage just like yours haha. Im not sure if we want to know how/why you used so much.
  22. Geez it isnt even a sprint article and the haters are out in full.
  23. So My broken nexus replacement, the Note 3(Thanks asurion...) was just traded for a GS5. Just to saw I have actually had better band 26 on the GS%, than the N5 had on its best Days. I am suprised to see it, but It looks like the Nexus RF performance has degraded substantially. Speaking of SCP I thought I saw a few times on my m8 it say -150 on band 26 with the spinning wheel going like crazy, possibly a fluke.
  24. So I had a nexus 5. It broke did an insurance claim, got a note 3, since they stopped the nexus 5. Just traded the note 3 for an s5. Well what I can say for sure the s5 has some damn well band 26 performance. I get band 26 inside my house even where my nexus 5 would not. Even my hotspot has trouble in some spots. How is everyones b41 signal strength usually compared to an older triband phone?
