  1. Band 30 iirc. Tim or AJ knows I'm sure! Yes was correct!
  2. true I've had bad experiences with cases. This speck I have for my HTC one m8 is great so far. I actually enjoy not having to have someone pitch me an insurance plan for my electronic accessory. I do that enough at target as its my job haha
  3. Weird on the outside panels , center pic, there are no Jumper cables running to them. Hmm maybe those aren't in use yet, could be the WCS equipment.
  4. Yep at least 3 if these sites in a period of 1-2 months, from nothing to monopole with equipment. I find these 3 sites be bad zones for all wireless carriers, so they could be seeing new Tennant's on these empty spaces soon enough. Hopefully Nokia and Ericsson will have some Sprint sites on these bad boys soon enough. But yeah they had some red wiring near the panels. I need to get a better camera to get closer pics. Might borrow one to see if I can make out any frequencies on the panel.
  5. Curious is your LTE strength usually strong if not weak signal can drain a battery. Switching to EVDo usually means the signal is better, and can help reduce battery that way.
  6. ATT just bought out Sprints holdings of WCS, so they should have enough ,iirc, for nationwide 10x10, would have 15x15, but guard bands are in place
  7. I just realized target is selling the galaxy tab S which is a pretty decent tablet, 8.6", and I think would be a good in between small tablet, and full size tablets like the iPad. Maybe a cellular version could be popular.
  8. Well here no AWS spectrum for ATT unless they got some from Aloha wireless. They have WCS now from Sprint, 700,850, and 1900.
  9. The RRUs in my pic look like Ericsson ones from Sprint. Obviously ATT but looks like Ericsson is a huge vendor for the south area for ATT and Sprint.
  10. So here in Tyler, East Texas, ATT has started expanding to new sites, 3 so far brand new monopoles. It seems these newer sites are being installed with WCS ready equipment. Anyone else seeing sites like these?
  11. Plus the slightly overpriced accessories they make tons if money in accessories like any retail center.
  12. I got one for $150 a few months ago. Was too bulky and lacking of certain features. Great sound but that's bout it honestly.
  13. still Nada. My computer beeps but no devices recognized in adb, fastboot or LG flash tools
  14. I cant enter any mode unfortunately, Unless there is a special way I haven't found yet.
  15. Well I used a package flash tool. Was in a hurry to test something, and I think it flashed a bad bootloader. The device has a black screen, no button combo works, plugged into a computer it makes the windows 8 sound for new device plugged in.
  16. So I flashed back from Android L, to 4.4.3, and Am pretty sure I somehow bricked the phone. Black screen no matter what I do. Any ideas?
  17. I could see some of these sites bring protection like sites. Ground mount the RRUs , reuse the panels, upgrade backhaul where needed,(in time). But basically put the ground equipment needed and broadcast LTE/1x and keep the license.
  18. prolly not , I thought up there you pay more for access to the higher speed tiers of data
  19. They use band 4, and band 7(2600) for capacity. So prolly a similar setup to Sprint. They are testing out the band 12 I believe in select markets.
  20. Is it on multiple apps on the nexus 5, if so screen issues could be the problem.
  21. These sites are capacity sites. Not necessarily coverage sites. Sprint has LTE coverage in both spots, 1 with near perfect signal, the other with -105LTE. Other carriers will be adding onto these sites in the future due to these being dense residential/high traffic areas, and have space for 3 more carriers on these sites. But the reason ATT and Verizon are adding more sites is due to them having I'd guess 70% or more market share here. T-Mobile is the worst, with very very few phones about. Sprint is actually gaining steam. Virgin/boost are the most seen/sold prepaid phones I see here. But sprint can always use extra coverage/capacity from any new or existing site. Especially with 8t8r rolling out
  22. I guess living in East Texas so long I'm gaining a the Ol' country accent
  23. Well here in Tyler, Att and Verizon are adding towers, just noticed at least two today that are brand new less than 5 months old, with 4 spots available on the monopole. Our site density in Tyler for ATT and Verizon is growing. Sprint hasn't grown, neither has T-Mobile. But sprint has 2-3 times the number of towers as T-Mobile, and has them in better places than T-Mobile. ATT and Verizon are such impactful carriers Herr they need the extra sites. BTW these new sites I saw I've never seen 4 panels per sector, all identical panels. Is ATT using PCs LTE in high site density as a way to keep LTE speeds higher?
