  1. It also looks like LTE coverage shades have been fixed in areas as well! Tyler no longer has those extra spots southwest near palestine. I noticed it last night, but the b41 differences were not there yet.
  2. I upgraded to a an ipad mini 2 32gb awhile back, and they allowed my to cancel my tab 3 line awhilr back actually for free. Also was able to cancel a hotspot line i had. Got a deposit back That I never paid, so i got a cheap bill.
  3. Ive tried outside up on the roof not mounted, but it just makes the sprint evdo/LTE data not work
  4. I picked up a wilson signal booster at bestbuy for $250, normally $399. I am going to attempt a setup and see how well it performs. I will try a window, and hopefully pole setup. I have a tall old tv antenna running up the side of my house. I hope i can get high enough (scared of heights) to get good reception. This is going to be for testing purposes. Any suggestions for these types of installs?
  5. Wait I thought it could do 2 carrier of 20mhz on b41? Is it that important to have even more than 2 carriers at this point? From what I had read its 32gb internal, plus additional support for more with a microsd. And its a device with a 5.5" screen 1080p is overkill anyway, just saying. Lol
  6. Well on debit transactions and.such the account info, like the pin number is encrypted using a code only banks can decrypt. Such during the targ ey breach only cards that used Credit were effected. Many use debit and credit on different trips, so most accustomed the breach to affect debit users as well, that and the whole everyone got sent new cards created mis stories. The chip based cards are a lot more secure.
  7. What is the big deal for Mobile payments? Im not up to par with it all, but everyone complains about security, and such, and this seems like something that is less secure. Correct me if i am wrong on that. But heck even cards arent as secure, but the more digital these things get, the more opportunities thiefs get at your money.
  8. Hmm so i got the mifi a few months ago for free on contract. And it said the line was out of contract only a few months later. Got a free device with no contract. Any others with this weird kind of stuff happening?
  9. Id rather go back to dialup than go with satellite internet. It has improved some from what I hear. But oings are really high, as well as prices, and data caps.
  10. No i am talking about in 2 years they know people will need new phones. In 2 years they make a clause saying you lose your current plan and need x or y plan to get a new device. It will get rid of the mess this program offers. It will simplify the billing system from there on out. This program has to make the billing system all jumbled.
  11. Well in 2 years people will need CA devices to get X speeds, and people will get them, so they will want them on new plans to simplify the system.
  12. I believe it states they can change the plan with a new device, but that to be decided in the future.
  13. I really hope they include the ipad mini 2. I bought one from best buy when the mini 3 came out, and used the trade in promotion to get one almost free. But of course it wont activate on sprint as its an "ATT" model, but all cellular mini 2's were including band 26/band 25 iirc. It reads the sim and shows LTE for a small time, but goes into a locked mode of sorts until a non sprint sim is in. Fingers crossed!
  14. Yep Just saw some that were basically those but cut in half. Had like 3-4 per sector. And was From a nextel site.
  15. I Just thought it was areas of strongest Band 41 signal, hence Where the highest Speeds Are to be Found. You wouldn't see Turbo on the edge of Band 41 signal, even though it may be Fast, it is not The fastest you might see.
  16. B shaped panels are most likely Nextel. Seem a few that are similar to those on nextel sites before.
  17. longview and Tyler got band 26 before Dallas. The sites in Longview are clear wire expedience sites, which give a 3G experience. They are setup as protection sites. Once 8t8rs gets installed by Nokia they will be tossed, as most are colocated on sprint sites. But won't happen for several month to a year.
  18. In dallas ive seen up to 72mbps down, and 15mbps up. Works great in some places, not sp in others.
  19. sorry I meant band 41. Band 26 has helped alot, Tyler would be absolutely terrible by now without band 26.
  20. If you are on framily it was $15. Alao noting on a maxed frmily you save another $5 extra so it isnt as high as you think. For those that wish to get a phone from target like the iphone, dont wish to do easy pay, you can buy said phone (if you ha e a smartphone like an Iphone 4 or something ) trade in your phone, and you can get the iphone for $350( contract cancelation ) plus $59. But you also get a $59 giftcard. Getting an Iphone 6 outright for $350 is a good deal given you cancel the new line after the 14 days.
  21. Basically you trade in a smsrtphone in the trade in catalog, if it works, no broken parts, you get minimum $100 target giftcard. But has to be done at time of buying the contract upgrade. So basically you get Iphone 6$ 199 For 20% off on carthweel, is now $159. You can trade in your Nexus 5, get for example $100 Giftcard, and on top of that all iphones get a $50 giftcard. So in turn you get away with target paying you
  22. Updated the post with a picture of the ad showing the trade in special.
  23. If you shop at Target and need a new phone, download cartwheel, and get 20% off on any sprint phone, plus get a minimum $100 gift card towards the phone if you do a trade in. Pretty good deal!
