Mean this thread? http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/2040-bars-lie-for-lte-signal-strength-how-to-determine-your-actual-lte-signal-strength/
-
I thought verizon phones show voice signal on the bars. Correct me if im wrong. Just like the single band speint phones used to do.
-
Im DFW I had b41, even on sites colocated with b25/b26. But It did have the escfb issues which some people didnt like. Even inflated readings it still performed very well.

Stuff like that here would get the company fined Daily. Only during short periods of installations or repairs do you see anything like that. ATT keeps most of our cables buried here, in town its aerial/underground. Thank goodness cable co's arent as messy in my opinion.

I cant focus on anything other than that mess of a phone line system!

Exactly they cat really undercut, and make money. They could make good point of the lease program for $5 and it being cheaper overall. Sprint should bring some more value to its unlimited plan, match Tmobiles pricing, even allow framily plan people off, im sure a few may leave for a cheaper plan.- 4,425 replies

So maybe this will kick sprint into making the unlimited data $50 w/easy pay or BYOD. I dont see Sprint being able to undercut this, besides giving out xGB of tethering per line for free.- 4,425 replies

Not me lol. My charging port cover broke off.

Im just basing it inly info , and a best estimate given thats about what I see, in very similar terrain, and EVDO signal.
-
It could also mean the opposite, he may not get band 25 due to power levels and down tilt. I have line of site of an att site and have -95dbm LTE , within a mile. There are variables we do not have info on. Im going on based on similar conditions know that I experience.

pm me your email and ill send you an invite.

Still have at least one invite.

Any band 25 LTE from that site would be minimal. Bamd 26, given it gets deployed on that site should be near fringe.

There were quite a few who joined sprint at target. Galaxy s5 fpr a penny, lg g3 a penny, and the iphone 6 was with a giftcard on contracts, as well as Target just started doing easy pay.
-
Personally ive seen the opposite. Band 26 on the s5 is the best of all current phones ive seen.

My issue has been me force restarting dueto text stop working, and calls wont ever actually start. The restart immediately fixes it. Also more dropped calls than ever, or failed calls. Never has been this buggy...plus the update made my phone think its custom instead of official

I got my parents the 39" vizio for 219. Got 10% off employee, and an additional 10% thanks to target wishlist coupon. Got it after tax for 194. Original 350.

And im stuck in an area with Tmobile stuck on with low teens as a max for LTE speeds ive seen, and hspa+ that well isnt very good at all. The market share here for Tmobile is very low due to them not expanding sites to meet demand. As well as the other 3 out performing them throughout East texas, kinda sad when the word Tmobile comes up at target or elsewhere and everyone cringes, amd laughs- 4,425 replies

You do need to take jn account there was recently a huge surge in amount of bamd 41 devices thanks to the iphone launch. Many with an Iphone 4 or 4s now have 6 pr 6+, and it wven inpacted places like East texas. The only solution here is to add band 41, or if possible a second pcs carrier. But band 41 is a higher priority.

On one page it showed the fcc label, with an meid open. Tried entering it in as a sprint device, just for kicks, and said it wasnt in the system. Could be a LG G flex remake. Remember the s3 got a remake recently, so wouldnt be suprised.

I want speed test to show what I get at that inatant, not a "theoretical" speed. That is the point of a speedtest, it is to show your speed at a moment in time. If you want theoretical speeds have the providers tell it on the websites. A speed test should have the same priority as a video, as a picture, as a torrent, and any other data stream. Keep speed test to show a speed at an instance in time.- 4,425 replies

Its speed test results are what you actually are getting. If you are on Tmobile and are throttled, your speed test arent showing that on Tmobile. Hence is misleading.- 4,425 replies

I thought the point of apeed teat were to see your speeds you are receiving. If you are throttled you arent receiving high speed LTE. If i do a speed test and see 30mbps id expect something with mbps, not Kbps. In a way it is falsely presenting numbers.- 4,425 replies
