  1. I just do not see sprint letting another carrier or outside party buying out clearwire. I think sprint would reject any bid that anyone would have. They need that spectrum for capacity, but probably do not want to look like they have a huge spectrum holding for future spectrum auctions.
  2. How about a compilation article specifically on the small nuggets from time to time, instead of posting the smaller nuggets as they come? I love that you guys give us so much details when you post articles as well.
  3. All I want to know is if it comes with Ice Cream Sandwiches?
  4. Ill let them have a discount if I get unlimited access to whatever backhaul they use. Unlimited access to fiber...
  5. GS3 based note would be epic. If they get a lineup of GS3, GS3 based Note, Evo LTE, Iphone LTE, and a Nokia Windows phone 8 LTE, then I do not see how anyone can top that.
  6. Wasn't Kankakee mentioned a while back as the first LTE cluster? I remember reading about a city near Chicago that was LTE-ready back in december.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I agree with him. It is the best variant of the One X. I was one of the people questioning the design, but it has won me over. Also HTC added so much: bigger battery, NFC, microSD, kickstand, etc; and still kept the same size. I did not agree that this is going to be the best phone of the year for sprint. I am sure Motorola and Samsung are going to bring out some beast phones, plus the iPhone 6th Gen.
  8. I could not find one in atlanta, but I found one near memphis,tn. It looks like it is near airline rd and jetway dr. here is a screencap
  9. Super amazing write up. I just saw the YouTube video of the making of the device, and man I was amazed of the style. This phone is amazing. I love the fact that sprint is trying to revive voice quality. Hesse and co are not playing around. They want sprint to compete and steal customers, and if they continue with devices like these, they will.
  10. Are they going to do SVLTE using 1xA? I love the HD Voice. It's something everyone thinks about, but no us carrier has pursued. Sprint is not leaving a stone unturned to find a way to better their network compared to AT&T/Verizon.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

I did not know that. The two tone has grown on me since first seeing it.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

It is a great phone. I just wish they kept the top half aluminum, but had one square under the camera that was polycarbonate for the NFC chip. Still a very very good phone, but I'll probably wait to see what Samsung or motorola brings out.

    HTC EVO 4G LTE

Still not a fan of the dual tone, but it has grown on me. where is the micro-sim slot.
  14. Don't they still need the sim slot for LTE?
  15. I just do not like the dual-tone look of the plastic(glossy) and metal. I know they wanted google wallet, but I think they could have designed it better.
  16. Sprintfeed said they were working on an LTE windows phone. I wonder if it is going to be a lineup instead of just one phone. I just cant see them having like 80% of their lte devices be android.
  17. Lol. I am still stoked, since unlimited+LTE gives me a nerdgasm. I think the main reason I wanted to see more coverage was so sprint could better compete against the duopoly. I am still very excited to see their native coverage converted to LTE; I just hope they do not stop and keep battling, especially since tmobile seems like they are waving the white flag.
  18. I am sure a lot of us were hoping for more. You know that Verizon is going to try and cover their existing 3G network with 4g. I just hope they change their mind about shutting down all of the Nextel sites, especially if Robert's calculation of needing only an extra 1000 sites to cover areas where they have iden but not CDMA is close.
  19. Sounds like a no brainer, but maybe it has to deal with cost. The lack of Nextel sites added might be the cost of losing LS as a partner. I just hope after NV that they reconsider expanding or getting more rural partners( SouthernLinc or Nextech etc) to join soon.
  20. Completely Agree, but maybe it is slated for after NV completion. I wonder if the lack of iDEN sites being included is because the investors are breathing down Hesse's back. I would think they gotta use some of the towers in the future for better capacity and coverage. I know they are decommissioning sites, but do they still own the rights to put up towers after they are decommissioned or is it like they are giving up that tower completely. If it is the latter, then I am upset, because they have a great chance to at least close the gap on ATT for coverage. also I assumed the map would have more coverage with the LTE 800 added. I was not expected a lot, but it seems exactly like sprint's cdma coverage. I thought the 800 would have a larger effect.
