  1. Was that for the Mac or the Park Av? ;-) J-Law might say otherwise. ;-)
  2. Thanks, Josh! I've been keeping my eye out, too. Hopefully something definite will turn up soon!
  3. Any word on when this phone will be available for sale? I was hoping by the end of Aug. My little brother is in need of a new phone (again) and needs something that won't break the bank. I'm thinking this will be pry the best budget, tri-band phone available.
  4. They should support 1x800. See S4GRU's FAQ's (post#3): http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1704-frequently-asked-questions/ It's been quite a while since Sprint has released a phone that does not support 1x800.
  5. Its pretty good. I wouldn't say the greatest but, for a chain, their Burgers are pretty good. And if you like thick, fresh fires, they're pretty good, too. As they say, "There's nothing better than Five Guys in your mouth." (Sorry, I had to.)
  6. I just saw a commercial advertising Sprint's new Family Share Plans. Not quite as good/simple as the old black and white commercials that featured Sprint CEO Dan Hesse but, I liked how they are straight to the point. Probably a step in the right direction in regards to advertising.
  7. Speak of the devil... Here's one of those clowns now!
  8. Thank you for all you do Setih. S4GRU really does have outstanding mods, So I extend this appreciation to each and every one of you, including those two clowns who seem to be running the show. Thanks Guys!
  9. Not to sound like a fanboy (but, maybe in some ways I am) however, BEST wishes to Dan Hesse, He's the best thing to happen to Sprint in a very long time. He kept Sprint alive in their darkest days.
  10. Looking forward to this! What's the maximum "seating capacity" of the lounge? 50? I'm just wondering if there will be an issue getting a seat like there was back in the day.
  11. I remember your review of the Tri-Fi Hotspot was pretty good. Just sayin.
  12. I agree with that. I'm hoping (wishful thinking) that when Spark is more widespread, Sprint will push a software updated that just just that. *fingers crossed* My parents just got back from Branson (mini vacation) and, although they aren't into this much at all, they said service was really good while they were there. That's good to hear as, I'd imagine, the terrain in Branson would be a challenge for cell phone coverage.
  13. I was without internet for about a week, as I moved and was in the process of getting cable installed. I activated the Hot Spot feature on my phone to tie me over. I go the cheapest plan ($20?). I called and deactivated it several days later, once my cable internet was installed at my new home. I think I used about 1.7GB of LTE data over that week via my phones Hot Spot. Service was great and price was unbeatable. And, the price was pro rated. I didn't run any e-penis tests but, it was just as good as the 25/5 my cable ISP ended up installing. And to think, this was in a market not yet launched by Sprint. I couldn't have been more happy.
  14. Actually, just visiting that website is grounds for a diagnosis of Crazy.
  15. I don't doubt ATT is pretty bad but, I would still put my money on T-Mobile having the worst voice quality of all carriers. My sister has an iPhone 5S on T-Mobile and I'm constantly having to ask her to repeat herself because the quality is so poor. I'm not really all that picky when it comes to voice quality in rearguards to a telephone call but, T-Mobil is just hideous. Since she has a new, high end phone, she's the only person I know on T-Mo, and the only person I have this problem with, I am led to believe the only explanation is T-Mobile's shoddy network. On another note, My brother and I are both are on Sprint, and the HD voice is simply amazing!
  16. There are probably many of you who are still active that remember Roberts chat sessions from when S4GRU was still in its infancy. Those sessions were some of my favorite times at S4GRU! Great info and a LOT of fun!! In the early days, there were only a few people that would "show up." Then, it got so popular that IPBoard couldn't handle all those who desired to attend in one chat room/lounge. As I've posted in another thread, these were some of my best S4GRU memories. I'd love to see another similar scheduled "meeting" where insiders/staff post the latest Sprint news/updates that can be made semi-public and discussed.
  17. 11 http://www.technobuffalo.com/2014/06/03/sprint-ceo-has-a-secret-to-tell-us-on-june-23/
  18. Although I am always a bargain hunter, I think the price of a maxed out Framily plan is as cheap as they should go. It's practically as steal as it is.
  19. Sixty bucks for all the Premiere Sponsor maps and insider info is definitely a steal. (No need for hypnosis!) Most that are truly interested in what Sprint is doing would probably consider it a bargain at full price but, at nearly half off, its a no-brainer, which is probably why so many Premier Sponsors continue to donate even more after reaching the Premier Sponsorship level. Hopefully the sources continue to provide information for NV 2.0! Also, not to mention, this site isn't littered with advertisements and popups that are such a nuisance on every other site/forum.
  20. Wouldn't it be cool if Vegas went straight from 3G to Spark?
  21. Perhaps Son and SoftBank will deploy thousands of Peppers to aid in network integration and expansion. http://techcrunch.com/2014/06/06/watch-pepper-softbanks-humanoid-robot-dance-and-accept-glowing-balls/ Sorry, if already posted.
  22. Cool! Looks like this is another tri-band phone for prepaid . The Hydro Edge Vibe was recently announced, too. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/weather-the-spring-showers-and-summer-fun-with-waterproof-kyocera-hydro-vibe-from-sprint-and-virgin-mobile-usa.htm
  23. Yes Sir, well said. I called my brother last night (both of us in the PHX market, I on the LGOG and him on the SGS4), the sound quality is almost hard to believe. We talk fairly frequently, 2 or 3x a week, and the difference was amazing. I thought it might be overrated but, Sprint hit a home run with this HD voice feature.
