  1. Become a sponsor, you get access to all the sites.
  2. He knows LTE is here and now, You know of what is to come. -Will
  3. Unlimited Sprint Latte 4G now in select markets. "LTe" latte"
  4. Agreed on that to a pretty high degree. The next 3 Generations of wireless technology are fundamental changes to manner in which the network operates, and I need even more spectrum to do what I want with them. 2x50 MHz with gigabit& multiple gig backhaul circuits is a game changer as is cost effective deployment of FOA fail over links.
  5. Let's call it "UHSWIAVMID" Ultra high speed wireless internet access via mobile internet device. Really make it a head scratcher.
  6. LTE is just a marketing term. LTE-Advanced is just a marketing term. "4G" as well, just marketing. Carrier aggregation, spectral efficiency of TDD vs FDD,&2x2 MIMO are the most notable features to me.
  7. I'm building my own radios, I dont have millions for R&D Though. I do agree that if large manufacturers won't make products for a network of 50 million they should be kicked to the curb. There is a whole group of tier 2&3 companies waiting for their chance to shine. Just need to ensure strict QC....and convince consumers they are better or equally good to the beloved iPhone.
  8. badly overstated. Go ahead and paint the whole thing red like Verizon. If we had all of the sites live it would be an adequate map.
  9. Multiple hops leading back to one fiber site will be a slow pipe for those users depending on your actual TCP/IP capacity at each microwave site. Regardless; if you have 7 hops down a rural road and a saturated network end users will not see fast speeds even if you have a 2*20. I'll put the test results of my 2x20 tests here someday soon. May even through in a few 2x40's
  10. Girlfriend has a tower in her back yard. I wouldn't mind having one in mine one day, especially If I ever build a house out on our land.
  11. Yes, in that regard you are in the green. A dish merger with T-Mobile would be awkward.
  12. I could seriously tie up with the guy and have no problems. I can give dish whatever backhaul related bandwidth they need to power mobile video, I have spectrum, but i would not be willing to lease or share. If he obtained his own i could share a rack and host the connection through my backhaul/data centers. This venture would cost more than 2.2B
  13. If Charlie had his own spectrum i could help him out with his mobile video ventures.
  14. oh its possible. Guaranteed to FUBAR neighboring sectors for miles!
  15. Yes, And yours too. In all seriousness I'd be willing to work with you. I know you are the most versed network guru in the US.
  16. From now till September we will have intermittent network "errors" in the sense that the NV complete towers are now strained due to lack of 4G signals coming from adjacent cells. If MR. would pay the local telcos to turn on the fiber connection these sites would already be live. The fiber is there at the site. And now you will be closed in from every side as 111 & Yale is live & 97 Memorial site was "in progress" Saturday.
  17. Moving on to the new "hybrid wimax" technology that i'm working with today I'll say this; 50 MHZ yields a lot of throughput
  18. PSDHOIJHROEIWJH we will have Sprint on the top of Mt. Shasta one day.
  19. Hang on for the ride Pretty safe to say a LOT of folks that frequent these forums have a vested interest in Sprint/Clearwire.
