  1. Updated list to move the Moto X to the announced device list, as well as the LG G2. Sprint PR puts the launch of the G2 to later this year. http://newsroom.sprint.com/news-releases/sprint-to-bring-unlimited-data-experience-to-lg-g2.htm
  2. I thought I remember seeing that someone had found work going on in Bakersfield about a month back. The Lower Central Valley is going, it's just going slow right now. Things will pick up pretty quickly from there.
  3. In what appears to be the most interesting of things, I think someone had mentioned recently that they believed that Nokia Siemens Networks Nokia Solutions and Networks would be part of the TDD LTE part of Network Vision, and the expansion of the former Clearwire LTE network. Well, yesterday NSN received approval from the FCC OET for Flexi Multiradio 10 BTS on 2.6 GHz, utilizing TDD LTE technology. There are external pictures available on the FCC page, found at this link.
  4. That's what it's starting to look like.
  5. Microsoft is crumbling before everyone's eyes. The sheer magnitude of the price drops they are doing shows their desperation.
  6. Address may or may not be wrong, but it is at Dakota and peach. Thanks for reconfirmation. Google maps may be wrong on their addressing schemes.
  7. Not in stock? Hmmmm. Maybe a new Airave is coming sooner than later. As for free, retentions can help with that, but it's kinda useless when they are outta stock. Tell her to try a prepaid phone for a little while and just put her Sprint phone on standby until phone service improves.
  8. I don't expect LG to release a hotspot. But I really think it's a tablet. And the idea of a Sprint, USCC, and C-Spire inter-roaming agreement would be awesome to compete against Verizon. We shall see soon enough once the docs show back up in the FCC database.
  9. Interesting! I wonder what it could end up being.
  10. I wonder how long before they send notice to all of us regular consumers. Talk about an aggressive shut down.
  11. I would sure hope so as technology advances, but the differences between time-division and frequency-division may not make that possible.
  12. This is awesome news that there is only minor handoff pausing from PCS LTE to TD LTE. This will make things so much better in the end.
  13. Sprint, AT&T, Verizon, the US government, CenturyLink, even Dish. Anyone of them have the realistic reasons to buy DT's 74% of T-Mobile US. However, AT&T and Verizon should not be allowed as it would be too anti-competitive to do so.
  14. The biggest thing is that Sprint promised the government that it would remove all Huawei equipment as part of the merger agreement for Clearwire. So that equipment has to come down. Samsung and Ericsson already have TD-LTE RRU's ready for deployment. Samsung's equipment does dual mode WiMax/TD-LTE. The time for Chinese spy equipment is over.
  15. That part about permits he told you is wrong. Building permits are required to be in place before you can even put up the RRU's. Lack of support and/or backhaul could be the issue at hand. Hopefully soon though!
  16. Remember, I'm only guessing based on the FCC band certifications. The 1700 bands it's certified for leave a big open space because AT&T, Verizon, and T-Mobile all use those bands for LTE. And AT&T, C-Spire, and US Cellular use the lower 700 blocks. The amount of LTE band support on this device is great, and I don't know if they could pull this off in a phone. If it turns out to be a phone, then I'm assuming it'll be at least a 5" screen.
  17. Thanks to AJ, I love rocking the rumor boat, lol. Not that it's guaranteed to be released in the end, look at the Samsung SPH-L500 (it's been superseded by the SPH-L520 already).
  18. The Sprint Samsung SPH-L600 has received Bluetooth Certification, and mtest on cloud4sites.com says it has Android 4.2.2. Early rumors state that the L600 could be the Galaxy Mega 6.3. But then again, it's only a rumor at this point.
  19. I'm thinking a tablet of some sort because historically, Sprint LTE branded LG phones have been carrying the LS model designator, except the Optimus F3 for Boost (it carried the LG model designator).
  20. It does. I can't find any info on it floating anywhere on the internet except for the FCC certification and withdrawl.
