If Sprint did deactivate and dismantle the legacy equipment, then they hooked up the NV equipment with the legacy backhaul. The only time they do that is on a swap over. I wish the backhaul providers would have just done their job when they were supposed to, but you know how they are. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2

People are hired and trained, and it takes time to do such a thing. Just like any job, you have to be trained on how to do it. CEO's didn't just appear overnight either. Lawyers, doctors, and politicians are that way too. They don't just pop up, they are trained, whether to be honest or to become professional crooks, like most* lawyers on this planet. (I said most because I do believe I have actually found an honest one for a change.)

I didn't even touch on the point of contractors. They aren't an interest in the underpinnings that Sprint has to go thru just to get Network Vision off the ground. That isn't political bribery, just stupid bribery.

Gaining more credence to a possible September 10 announcement and September 20 release, this article was posted on phonearena.com stating that a reader, who is a Sprint employee, was notified that the iPhone retail section of the store have to be updated by September 16. http://www.phonearena.com/news/New-iPhone-expected-on-Sprint-in-mid-September_id46653

People, you seem to keep forgetting one major thing. You can't make Network Vision happen any faster than it already is. Number 1 problem from the beginning is permitting because cities can be cranky about how things are done with applications. Number 2 problem is "tin-foil hat people" who try every possible way to interfere with such initiatives as Network Vision. Number 3, backhaul. AT&T, Verizon, CenturyLink, Cox, Comcast don't want to help others even when paid to do so. Look at the Albuquerque Market thread and you will see all about that issue. Money is evil, it doesn't make the world go faster, it just has the appearance of such a thing. And number 4, you can't bribe politicians to make permitting go faster, because I hope you'll get caught, and then it'll be all your fault for slowing Network Vision. I will make sure that you get tortured in prison for trying to sabotage Sprint in their efforts to complete Network Vision on time! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2

How does an Airave work?

Good to know for my personal future reference in case I ever need such a nice feature. Hopefully I'll never need it though. -

It should work that only her phone would connect, but you should add your phone if you go over there often. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2 -

Yes you would have to forget the school's wi-fi in order for the phone to use the Airave data. Of course, depending on the school's ISP bandwidth, even Airave data can be slow. Hopefully they have a really good internet connection. -
If this page is to be believed, this could be the Galaxy Tab 3 7.0. http://www.zauba.com/import-SAMSUNG+TABLET+SM-hs-code.html Also, here is the Bluetooth certification page: http://www.bluetooth.com/Pages/Product-Listing-Detail.aspx?ProductID=30344 This pretty much confirms it. Galaxy Tab 3 7.0 could be coming to Sprint very soon. http://ameblo.jp/povtc/entry-11597773493.html

A new Sprint tablet by Samsung was filed in the FCC yesterday. Model number is SM-T217S. It only supports LTE Band 25, which is Sprint's original LTE band. No, once Network Vision is done the site should be set up with extra carriers to maintain capacity without overburdening. It'll be nice if they convert the extra iDEN site to Network Vision, but we haven't heard if they will do that with more than 100 or so sites nationwide. All sites in the area have been broadcasting eHRPD since last year as that is just a software upgrade. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2

That can be modified to say all no's instead of gray. And I will try to add the Galaxy Mega in a little while when I'm on the road to work. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2

Welcome to the club. I live in west Visalia right now, and the site off Akers by the Tulare-Akers Professional Building hasn't received its building permit yet, so it's gonna be a while. I do expect the site in back of KJUG should be broadcasting LTE soon, as well as the one off Acequia around the corner from Ben Maddox and Main. There should be LTE by the end of this month in Visalia. If not, then by the end of September. If AT&T is the backhaul provider, then it may take longer. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
