  1. It's made by LG, so I hope they won't use the crappy VIA chipsets. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Galaxy Nexus updates. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  3. Talk about wild! I thought it was a tablet with all those LTE bands. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I don't remember. But just because they say something, doesn't mean they can't add more. Remember, they can't speak and say that Apple is releasing a Triband iPhone on Sprint based on the NDA in place with Apple. Sprint may have had a similar agreement with Samsung regarding the Note 3. We won't know for sure until the FCC docs are published for the Sprint variant Note 3. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  5. I've been talking about this device for over a month, I had even added it to the Sprint LTE device list when I found it in July. I'm just extremely surprised it's triband. But if anything, it's more of an indicator that the Note 3 is going to be triband.
  6. It's already on there. It's listed under it's model name, the SPH-L520, but now I can add the FCC date to the Note for it's entry.
  7. It's how Sprint's cell sites are programmed. It has nothing to do with Signal 2. As far as I know, he doesn't even have a database. The app just stores locations of sites connected to as dots on the map. As for VZW customers, VZW blocks customer access to GPS coordinates for their cell sites. 8. I understand where you are coming from. That's why I suggested the FreedomPop. Free data every month, or you can upgrade to higher data allotment, and it still runs on Sprint's network. Plus, the data devices pull a better signal than most phones do. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  9. Get a FreedomPop LTE broadband modem for when you absolutely need it. 500MB of data for free every month. It's worth the investment. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  10. I was wondering if the SPH-L520 would make it to the FCC. The L500 was just a vapor phone. The S4 mini has been around for a little while in international forms, just now finally in Sprint flavor, with triband LTE. Take my money Sprint! Don't tease AJ too much you guys. The excitement of the Note 3 was a coverup for the S4 mini. Remember, Sprint has not announced the S4 mini yet, so the Note 3 could potentially be released sooner than the S4 mini.
  11. I would not hold your breath for SVLTE. The time of transitional bases is over. VoLTE will be the only way to have data while you jabber your head off on the phone. Can you imagine how much bigger tri-band phones would have to be to support the extra equipment needed for SVLTE? I would expect twice as thick.
  12. Yeah, it does make sense to me too. Keep the 1x800 open for the macro network so there is no interference from the Airave's. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  13. I'm in Clovis today and even with a -100 EVDO signal, I'm still getting usable data. I'm over by Bullard and Fowler. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  14. The problem is, Sprint and T-Mobile might do the same, citing the rising costs of network maintenance. I would sure hope not, but it isn't out of reality. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Clear ceased to offer new products from their website on August 30th. It's only a matter of time before all accounts get transitioned to Sprint accounts.
  16. I personally would like to see them discontinue the 16GB model on the 5S and only have it on the 5C so they can do 32, 64, 128 for the $199, $299, $399 setup. Then on the 5C have 16 for $99, 32 for $199 and 64 for $299.
  17. Nope, none that we are aware of. And hopefully the next Blackberry won't either.
  18. Yeah, it seems strange, but something must have gone wrong in early testing for them to skip it. But, on the plus side, I did find out that it does support SVLTE thru the SAR files.
  19. I rechecked the FCC filing for the Blackberry Q-10, and it does not, I repeat, DOES NOT, support 800 SMR at all.
  20. Is it even feasible for Sprint to merge with T-Mobile? How much for expanded coverage would Sprint gain? I don't think there would be much, as most areas I travel, Sprint has drastically more coverage than T-Mobile. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  21. That's the funny thing about Alcatel-Lucent too. Their SMR 800 RRU's aren't theirs. They were made by another company and A/L FCC labels were placed on them. So it may be that A/L hired NSN for their particular band 41 RRU's.
  22. I haven't seen an announcement yet, nor has any information leaked on the web yet, but with NSN building and then getting FCC approval, it's very possible that an official announcement is coming soon. I would gladly welcome such an announcement from Sprint on the subject.
