  1. There is always the possibility that Sprint will wait to announce the release date the day before launch like they did with the Moto X. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  2. That's ok. That brown box holds the display to Tuesday's show! I'll be excited just to see the box! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  3. I'm just glad to hear the box is there in store waiting for set up. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  4. I'm with you on that, and my profile pic is of me. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  5. No, we don't want him to do that. We want him to keep his job, and the job of his manager too. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  6. Tim Cook is trying to reverse parts of Jobs' archaic locks on iOS. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  7. If you are jailbroken, then check out Signal 2 in Cydia. Otherwise, no. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  8. That really would be bad. :/ Unless they decide to add them back in, but LG didn't do it last time. I guess now I hope they separate the Sprint ones and keep the engineering screens. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I hope so too. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  10. Ouch! I forgot about that. That could really throw a monkey wrench into people's plans. Lets hope it does have the engineering screens. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  11. How so? Apple has all CDMA iPhone 5's that are refurbished in the Sprint database. Long story, it's in the iPhone forum. But once you choose a carrier, said phone is locked to it, and can't be changed. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  12. Since this model has multiple bands of LTE built in, which give us support for AT&T, Sprint, and T-Mobile, there is no reason for Google not to sell it in Google play. The CDMA Galaxy Nexus' for Sprint and Verizon were essentially different devices that the carriers had control over. With no Verizon, and Sprint being more of an open-minded carrier than Verizon, I expect Google to sell a Sprint version on their site. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  13. That giant ad does have a close button in the upper right of it. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  14. They are idiots. The D820 has LTE. Why are they saying that it doesn't? Maybe the D821 is the Verizon version? Or maybe for a Chinese carrier with their specific bands? I guess we will know when it gets approved by the FCC OET. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  15. Technically, you could say that. But for marketing purposes, and for lack of inter-carrier roaming agreements, you can't. That's why it's listed as 7 distinct LTE bands. Some of the FCC docs do post LTE band 2, but 25 is the superset band, so you don't have to even put it in.
  16. Now we have the task of making ourselves known in the tech industry as the number 1 Sprint information site around. Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  17. Eric, you are totally right on that. Look at what happened to the predecessor of the GS4 mini. The SPH-L500 passed thru the FCC, and lo and behold, it's never been released. In one month we will know what it looked like. And since the GS4 mini is the SPH-L520, the L500 must have been a modified version of the GS3 mini. I'm hopeful for the GS4 mini because it's a triband phone.
  18. I knew I was forgetting something. Thanks, check for it in the next 5 minutes! Sent from Josh's iPhone 5 using Tapatalk 2
  19. Try re-booting your iPhone once in a while. I have issues with bad handoffs a lot of the time, and when it gets really bad, a total reboot seems to help. (And no, I'm not in an LTE area yet, but soon.)
  20. I'm off doing schoolwork this week, and the releases from the FCC and Sprint are just crazy!
  21. Done! I'm quite surprised that they won't be in store. Disappointed, actually.
  22. Oh AJ, they blocked the antenna diagram again. Any thoughts as to why?
  23. But I discovered it when it first came out. I was disappointed at the fact that LG blocked it and teased me with a Sprint triband compatible device then, but now I'm excited to see it's a phone and not a tablet!
  24. A possibility, but I'm not going to hold out for them to put a bigger battery in there. They may have figured out a similar method that Apple uses to make batteries much more efficient in a smaller footprint.
