I think your conclusion is faulty. Sprint is not looking to put as much traffic as possible on the network, but rather, Sprint is trying to monetize its network. Increased traffic is likely a result, but not the goal.

I am no fan of Sprint marketing and PR. There are some good folks that work there. But their current implementation misses the mark. I don't know if they are too restrained by Executives and the Board, or if they are inherently restrained on their own.

Sprint had planned to burn through cash at the rate of the NV schedule. Since the schedule is starting to run approx. 4 weeks behind on average (except Chicago), I think they have a little room now to speed up other markets ahead of backhaul if they wanted to. But to allow a market to run ahead like that is a management nightmare. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Samsung hits up Sprint for a change order to come back after the fact to handle the backhaul when it shows up.

At Sprint, the Golden Triangle area is in the Memphis market. Network Vision deployments are starting in this market soon. But the Mississippi parts will be at the tail end of the market because of the backhaul issues in that part of the market. Will take more time.

No. I do not have dates. I thought they would start before launch. However, I am hearing things in Atlanta that leads me to believe that some 3G is getting connected to NV backhaul and getting moving. However, I have not seen any official change of Ericsson site status to date that 3G is live (other than Waco). But I guess it is possible they may never status 3G complete on completed LTE sites.

This post needs to be framed as an example of what is not acceptable at S4GRU. There is nothing of any substance, full of unsubstantiated drama and draws faulty conclusions. These types of posts will not be tolerated. We are not a complaint board.

On the GNex, I was able to get over the no data bug by cycling Mobile Data on and off. I have a similar bug on the GS3 where I lose mobile data if I go out of range on WiFi. Its almost like the device still thinks I am connected to WiFi and will not let me connect to 3G. This is annoying because cycling will not fix the problem. I have to turn WiFi back on, turn off again and reboot. Now I'm in the habit of just turning off my WiFi all the time.

We can create coverage maps. We have the data and the tools. But we are only limited to 35 contiguous sites in each coverage map.
