  3. Hey that's not fair! You know that Samsung just copied Apple in the future. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  4. I'm sorry. My home WiFi network is not a shared resource. It runs on shared spectrum, but that network is not shared within the confines of my home, and no one has access to it without committing a felony. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  5. End of the year? Yes. Next week...spotty. but getting better and better every week through the end of the year. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  6. Well, if the iPhone doesn't support CDMA and simultaneous voice and data, then it MUST be a CDMA limitation. It cannot be an Apple decision to not support it. No, never. Nevermind that the iPhone doesn't even support simultaneous voice/data even over LTE, which is not even CDMA. Robert
  7. LTE performance is very signal strength dependent. http://s4gru.com/ind...ignal-strength/ Robert
  8. It could be. However, the last time I tried back on CM7 and my OG EVO, I couldn't get anything to work. Robert
  9. You will likely be right on the edge of LTE 1900 service. But you will have a better LTE experience on LTE 800 when it gets deployed on your site. You will probably see your LTE service go in and out inside your home, but will probably remain steady outside. Robert via Samsung Galaxy S-III 32GB using Forum Runner
  10. 1. Network Vision/LTE deployment will not begin in your market until some time in 2013. 2013 market schedules have not been finalized yet. Should later this Fall. Upgrades shown at network.sprint.com are not Network Vision related, but rather are maintenance upgrades to their legacy system. 2. If you use WiMax heavily, you may want to hold off on upgrading until LTE deployment starts in your area. Unless you find 3G to be acceptable where you go. Currently, Sprint LTE devices only support LTE on 1900MHz. Whereas, some time next year, Sprint LTE devices will also support LTE on 800MHz (Nextel frequencies). 11. If there are, they haven't been accepted by Sprint. I don't believe any are live yet, because we have not had one single member report, nor any signals appear on Sensorly. In most markets, sites will show up complete before they will be discoverable anyway. If History is our guide. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  12. I'm always shocked to not see any sites accepted in Miami/West Palm every week. I check Sensorly nearly every day to see if someone has connected. We know there has been activity in this market for almost two months now. It must be very soon. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner

  14. I'm going to just shoot across the bow now. You guys can respond with facts for or against the OP. No rants or diatribes. I can already see how this thread could go bonkers. Our moderators will be watching this thread. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  15. eHRPD sometimes goes live early in a market, sometimes late. Very inconsistent. However, by the time time LTE is no longer blocked, eHRPD should be up for good. Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  16. You weren't able to get LTE there? Robert via CM9 Kindle Fire using Forum Runner
  17. We are hearing some info from members in the Philly market that they are starting to see some activity at Sprint sites in the area. So it appears work has started. You will likely see sporadic LTE signals start coming live in your market around Mid November. Sprint said last week that they are working to have enough service to launch the market before the end of the year. Robert
  18. We track market deployments on this page: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/212-network-visionlte-deployment-running-list/} We include Orange County. Work will likely start in October/November, but the market will not likely launch until the Spring. Robert, S4GRU.com
