  1. Your signal strength is likely right between the threshold between 3 and 4 bars. And it is not unusual for your signal strength to vary even when stationary. But you will likely have different strengths around your dwelling too. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  2. Unless he is talking about how the front of the panel is curved. Looking from the bottom or the top I could see why someone may call the AlcaLu NV panels as half circles. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  3. First off, signal bars are poor representative of signal. I wouldn't put too much emphasis on the bars. Does it perform? Second, the Note 2 doesn't show LTE signal strength in the bars, ever. Even when it shows the 4G icon. So you have a really weak LTE signal and not know it when you are outside. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  4. All the Joplin sites marked In Progress came from one Site Dispatch report I received. I don't get every report, I just get a few here and there. It is possible that there was an earlier Site Dispatch for sites in Joplin that I've never seen. Our In Progress sites are not an exhaustive list. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  5. You cannot say that NV doesn't help building penetration. You can only say it doesn't help with your buildings. There are 1000's of different wall and roof profiles that are used in construction and each have a differing effect on RF. There will not be any Sprint 800MHz for awhile in PR. Also, 800 may not help much in your instance, either. The AT&T and Claro sites may be lower frequency and closer than the Sprint site. I don't know the details of your exact location. 6. This is likely due to the weak LTE signal strength you are receiving. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  7. What signals are you getting from your Engineering screens? Do they fluctuate too? Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  8. Not enough. Where's my coffee? Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  9. Did you check for ground mount RRU's and Ericsson cabinets? They could have some GMO sites. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  10. blanket coverage Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  11. Seven Wonders Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  12. Deployment in the Long Island market is already under way. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  13. Although I'm not much appreciating your tone, I do agree that Sprint requiring a two year contract to provide service on a device you own outright is ridiculous. It was nice to be able to activate my Nexus 4 on Tmo with no contract. They need to come up with a better plan to add additional devices that someone purchases somewhere else. 14. Look, he has given lots of examples. In no case ever in Network Vision deployment yet has there only been one or two communities that have been worked on. Work occurs all over the market in every instance. Every single one. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  15. I don't know much about South Bay. But it's been pretty quiet lately. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  16. Are we going to need a redux redux? Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  17. SVLTE is where its at. Word! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  18. I had a friend who was an RF tech, and his wife used to joke with his daily exposure that her signal bars would go up when he got near her phone. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  19. I'm probably done buying devices until the first Windows Phone LTE device or the first flagship LTE 800 or LTE 2600 device hits. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. No software upgrade is needed. You just need to go into the dialer codes and change from GSM/WCDMA mode to include LTE. I don't recall the codes off the top of my head, but you can Google it. I've already set mine to include LTE. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. Are you kidding? Absolutely not. We have had over a dozen members report and contribute mapping in Avalon, Oviedo, Cocoa. I've watched the areas grow every day. There is no such things as false positives, really. These phones were connected to Sprint LTE inn these areas while running the Sensorly app. It is possible the site was down and being worked on when you were in the area, or there was an issue with your device. But these are not false positives. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  22. Sprint is not the carrier for everyone. If they don't meet your needs, you should go. However, since their network is being upgraded in your area, you should see what that does for you first. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  23. Voice and 3G coverage will improve slightly on existing sites with these upgrades. Also a few months down the road, Sprint will be adding 800MHz voice to these sites. This will increase voice coverage pretty noticeably from existing sites. But not 3G. Starting toward the end of 2013 and into 2014, Sprint will start adding LTE on 800, also, which will extend the range and in building performance for their LTE too. 24. To Sensorly servers. I think they are in France. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  25. Four more 3G accepted in the San Diego market. Sponsors can see more details here: http://s4gru.com/index.php?/topic/1120-comments-related-to-nv-sites-complete-thread/page__view__findpost__p__94053 Robert
