  2. No. Deployment is occurring in the entire market. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  3. Cracker Barrel and LTE is a great combination. I did the same in Wichita Falls back in November. Emmm, country ham and maple syrup. *drool* Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  4. There is a thread about this posted yesterday. I'd post the link, but I'm mobile at the moment. Thread closed. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  5. It is very uncommon for Sprint CDMA equipment to be inside a building, but it does happen occasionally. Maybe 1 out of 100 sites. Nextel iDEN base stations are usually inside though. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  6. You should start your own thread for this ROM. As soon as I decide to leave stock ROM, this is what I will go to. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  8. Sprint is deploying CDMA voice on 800MHz in some areas now. But will not begin LTE 800 deployments until the end of the year. So all LTE deployments going live now are on PCS 1900 G Block. Additionally, sites within the International Boundary Exclusion Zone cannot deploy 800MHz until coordination with Canadian and Mexican carriers and governments is finalized within the next year or two. 9. They are working in all of SDC. Already sites complete in La Mesa and Santee. I don't consider those areas North County. We will see sites in National City, CV and IB in the next few weeks or so. They already have 3G side of many sites in the South Bay complete, they just need to get backhaul hooked up on the LTE side fired up and tested. It's happening. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  11. It has the equipment installed, and the spectrum available for use. It cannot be within the International Boundary Exclusion Zone. Some places in the U.S., Sprint has reduced SMR holdings (like the Southeast) and there they will only be able to deploy CDMA on 800. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. Deployment is happening all over the Riverside/San Bernardino market. That includes Ontario and RC, as well as Corona, Fontana, Redlands, Moreno Valley, Hemet, Elsinore, Temecula, Victorville, Palm Springs, Indio, Twentynine Palms, Barstow, etc. There is no specific time for any one community. Deployment is happening on a shotgun approach. Every site is being upgraded. Crews go to the very next site that is ready, regardless of where it is at. In your area, you will likely see one LTE site go live. And then a few weeks later another. And then another. Until the whole area is covered. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  13. Some GMO sites should start going live in the next month or so in this market. Full build sites should start in the Spring or early Summer. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. We had to lock it up. The NOLA members were a little too free and easy with it. Thanks for signing up and donating to support S4GRU. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  17. Yep, this will be your fate until you get a closer LTE site. Unless you go to CDMA mode. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD

  19. Wes Tower is doing work for Sprint Network Vision in several markets. But they also have done work for other carriers too. Keep your eyes peeled and keep us posted. Thanks! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. Only GMO site activity occurring in Colorado market at the moment. Full builds will start in the Spring. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. There is no average for LTE, in general. Because LTE performance is directly tied to signal strength. With a very strong signal, it can be in the 30's DL. With a very weak signal, it can be 1-2Mbps. Everything else is somewhere in between. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  22. Saying a site is working fine is not a contradiction to it having too much traffic. I'd call and insist on opening a ticket on the site. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  23. The 3G is down or overloaded. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  24. There is no way. You may need to get an inexpensive WiMax hotspot to help you in the interim. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  25. Not yet. I scour reports almost every day looking for any accepted sites. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
