  1. Did you check out the site on our Sponsor maps I posted this morning? Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  2. There has probably never been speeds like that on Sprint on St. Thomas, ever. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  3. My wife texted me and said my Optimus G was delivered today. I should be able to say in a couple of days how it compares to all my other Sprint devices. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  4. There will be. There will be live LTE in every one of Sprint's 97 markets before the end of 2013. They will not be complete, but you will be seeing it on sites all over your market. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  5. Half of them were already on the maps since the last update. But the other half are new. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  6. The first Olympia area LTE site was accepted near Lacey off I-5 yesterday. It is shown on the Sponsor maps. Robert via Samsung Note II via Tapatalk
  7. The GNex is an awful radio performer. Worst of any device I've ever had. I have solid performance benchmarks in my area for over a dozen devices. I'm looking forward to testing the Optimus G against the others in 1x and EVDO. We have no LTE in my area yet, so I will not be able to test that part until I go to Missouri in April. 8. If you can figure out which site it is and maybe take some pics, I'd be grateful. However, I know the sites in USVI are pretty inaccessible. Most are on mountaintops far behind locked gates. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  9. I personally would like something around 5" - 5.1". The Note 2 is slightly too large for my every day use. But going back to the EVO LTE or GS3 feels small. I desire something in the middle. A mini phablet. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  10. Only at the protection sites they've installed. It will likely be years before Clearwire ever comes in and installs any LTE in South Carolina. But Sprint will be installing LTE on their own all over the state in 2013. They will likely not be 100% done this year, but they will have some coverage in every SC community the serve before the end of the year. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  11. I used to be a big proponent of Lo-E glass and talked a lot of people into putting it into high end homes and commercial buildings until I understood what it did to RF signals. I have had one school here in New Mexico upgrade to Lo-E intentionally to keep the kids off their phones during class. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  12. All hail our new Japanese overlords of unlimited data! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  13. I'm curious about battery life. The battery performance in my Nexus 4 is anaemic. And it takes forever to charge. My Note 2 charges in half the time of the Nexus 4 despite the much larger battery size. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  14. Rochester is in it's own Sprint market. Work at GMO sites is beginning soon. Full build sites will not likely begin until late Spring/early Summer. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  15. Work will begin in mid to late Spring. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  16. Work on GMO sites is beginning very soon. Full build sites will not begin until later in the Spring. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  17. I was "red-sticked" once. It was awful. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  18. I bought an Optimus G off EBay yesterday for $195. Couldn't pass it up for that price. Can't wait to play with it. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  19. There are no full WiMax deployments in SC. Only some scattered protection sites. Thankfully LTE will be much more widespread in the Low Country. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  20. A new accepted site in the Olympia area occurred on Wednesday. Yeehaw! Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  21. A new accepted site in the Olympia area on Wednesday. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  22. Not strange at all. Sprint has used dozens of different PCS capable panels. I don't know every single one used. And these do not look like any I've ever seen before. Robert via Nexus 7 with Tapatalk HD
  23. I am going to lose sleep tonight over the photo in your link. As if I could spare any sleep:
  24. Clay absorbs RF. Bricks are made of clay. Bad ju-ju. Robert
