2014 Black Friday Deals

Does anyone know if Sprint will be offering any deals on Black Friday for phones, upgrades, etc? I called customer care and nobody had a clue, and same goes for speaking with someone at a corporate store.

Maybe they will give discounts on the Easy Pay purchase prices since they are pushing more toward Easy Pay, like a $50-$250 discount depending on the phone price.

There is rumors of discounted iphone 6 at target. Possible giftcard or straight discount. Also look for trade in offers at target.

Just in FYI, here is a very useful Black Friday site I was told about quite a while ago and have been following it religiously... Brad's Deals is a great one to get leaked ads very quickly. Sears, Kohls, Kmart, Radio Shack and Sam's Club are the big ones leaked as of now.

Happy deal hunting everyone!  :D

iPhone SHOULD be a discount device anyway, especially in terms of its technical specifications.  Let the Apple fans have their day, as people other than the Lucky Goldstar and  High Tech Computer folks need a chance for a discount too, at least with devices of comparable quality.

Not necessarily a Black Friday deal but noticed an Xbox One deal on Brads Deals using coupon codes at kohls.com you can get it for $288 shipped. Go here and scroll down to the Xbox One listing: http://blackfriday.bradsdeals.com/deals?page=3

I just picked one up from a Microsoft store for 232 after a 5% discount code and trading in a old 2007 20gb xbox 360 for a $100 credit. Game stop would of gave me less than half that trade value.

But it'd be a great thing to use your 30% off coupons and Kohl's Cash on!

Yeah I didnt even think about that buy clothes and such and get the kohls cash for that. Smart idea, maybe time to start shopping at kohls again. Target doesnt get that good of a deal usually on consoles. The best I could get it at target (with employee discount, target wishlist 10% off, $10 off store wide purchase, 5% off with redcard) would be $283 after tax. With the pharmacy rewards itd be another 5% off. This week by the way is buy 2 get one free games so perfect time for an xbox one or ps4 from target!

Be sure to check the fine print on those 30% off coupons. They may not work on certain items. I know the Kohls Cash works on everything.

Is the radio shack one real? $205 for an lg g3 off contact?

If that price is valid off contract, I might have to jump on that. That'd be something nice to let me save my upgrade and tide me over until something next year catches my eye. Z4 hopefully ;)

Already called 3 local radio shacks to see if they have stock. 2 of them did. One only had 1 in stock. Hope they keep it there until Black Friday.

There's no way that price is the off-contract price. If it is, I'm buying a few and eBay-ing them.

If the price is real, it has to be off-contract. Everyone else is selling it for $99 with an agreement. Poor Radioshack is just desperate for some foot traffic.

They are pretty desperate.  But I'm seriously considering hitting them up on the offer.

hopefully we can expect some deals moving towards black friday and the holidays. I was just checking the sprint site and they have some easy pay deals on a couple of phones already.

you can get the HTC One M8 Harman/Kardon edition for $0 down and $15/mo on easy pay, which brings the phone price to $360. They also have the Galaxy S4 for $0 down and $14.59/mo which would be $350.16 for the phone.

so hopefully they continue deals like this :)

This is what we've been waiting for. Discounts on phones if they are purchased on Easy Pay. Best thing for competition!

Soon enough, it may not even be a RadioShack -- it will be a RadioVanDownByTheRiver.

    • Definite usage quirks in hunting down these sites with a rainbow sim in a s24 ultra. Fell into a hole yesterday so sent off to T-Mobile purgatory. Try my various techniques. No Dish. Get within binocular range of former Sprint colocation and can see Dish equipment. Try to manually set network and everybody but no Dish is listed.  Airplane mode, restart, turn on and off sim, still no Dish. Pull upto 200ft from site straight on with antenna.  Still no Dish. Get to manual network hunting again on phone, power off phone for two minutes. Finally see Dish in manual network selection and choose it. Great signal as expected. I still think the 15 minute rule might work but lack patience. (With Sprint years ago, while roaming on AT&T, the phone would check for Sprint about every fifteen minutes. So at highway speed you could get to about the third Sprint site before roaming would end). Using both cellmapper and signalcheck.net maps to hunt down these sites. Cellmapper response is almost immediate these days (was taking weeks many months ago).  Their idea of where a site can be is often many miles apart. Of course not the same dataset. Also different ideas as how to label a site, but sector details can match with enough data (mimo makes this hard with its many sectors). Dish was using county spacing in a flat suburban area, but is now denser in a hilly richer suburban area.  Likely density of customers makes no difference as a poorer urban area with likely more Dish customers still has country spacing of sites.
    • Mike if you need more Dish data, I have been hunting down sites in western Columbus.  So far just n70 and n71 reporting although I CA all three.
    • Good catch! I meant 115932/119932. Edited my original post I've noticed the same thing lately and have just assumed that they're skipping it now because they're finally able to deploy mmWave small cells.
