The debug screen has been abandoned. They recently redid it for the Intel model but not the Qualcomm.

I know it doesn't show Bandwidth but, it doesn't even show the Band? It shows the band on my Vzw iPhone 6s.

Yes, it shows what band I'm on. Gainesville, Fl only has B25 and B26 as far as I know. I'm on B25 at my apt and speeds have dropped below 1mbps since last July. I used to never get below 9-10 Mbps from my apt. It rained really bad one day last July, and my internet went out. I thought no biggie since my phone service was good. After the storm speeds have been horrendous from my apt.

Until 10x10 or B41 comes speed will not improve.

Wow...thanks Terrell. Idk why Ocala and Gainesville are so neglected. Marion county is huge, and Gainesville is most definitely a college town with the University of Florida being here.

Well Ocala received one band 41 tower online in Sept 2016. It has 3xCA. Poor Gainesville though they don't have anything. Very poor experience when I go there. No permits either.

I don't think iPhone no longer shows bandwidth after the iPhone 6. I've read that every iPhone from 6s forward won't show download bandwidth.

The UARFCN field still does work though. What does that say?

Gainesville isn't too bad in most parts of the city, but I live literally right by I-75 so I would think service would be better where I'm at. Like I said at one point it was always good at my place but now it's getting harder to not port to Verizon. I really don't want to. I've had sprint since I was 17 and I'm 29 now.

I'm just curious does the small 2 beside the band mean a second carrier?

If so, this was in Birmingham across from the 280 sprint corp store...

Could you post a pic of service mode? Just curious about the Bandwidth. It's *#0011* on Samsung.

This is on a galaxy tab A, but it's Birmingham... an hour away. I'll try to get it on my phone next time I go

Ok. That fine.

I think he is mistaken. They could do a 10x10 and 5x5 using 2xCA b25 though and make a 15x15 that way.

That guy lurks here name tyroned. Basically wrong since you can't run more than 2 LTE carriers in dual mode cdma + lte and its not a 3rd b25 carrier since it's just one 15 MHz b25 carrier thanks to refarmed cdma spectrum.

Does anyone know if the Philly area can do 10x10, 15x15 or even a second carrier on B25?

Sent from my SM-N920P using Tapatalk

No 2nd 5x5 there?

In Philly they have the G Block then also the B Block. Depends on how much they have on the B Block..

Haven't seen any but then again I am hardly ever on B25, I see it rarely. I'm always on B41 even indoors.

That's a great problem to have.

Are the B41 speeds good?

    • Yes! That does keep it from wandering off Dish and most importantly, reconnecting immediately (at least where there is n70). Thanks!
    • I have my Dish phone locked to NR-only.  That keeps it on Dish and only occasionally will it see T-Mobile NR SA for brief periods before going to no service. I also don't have mine band locked beyond that, except that I have some of the unused bands turned off just to try to reduce scan time.  Fortunately, my Dish phone is the one with the MediaTek chipset, so it has NR neighbor cells, and I can usually see n71, n70, n66, and sometimes n29 (market-dependent) through those regardless of which band it's connected to as primary. - Trip
    • Excuse my rookie comments here, but after enabling *#73#, it seems that the rainbow sim V2? requires n70 (I turned it off along with n71 - was hoping to track n66) to be available else it switches to T-Mobile.  So this confirms my suspicion that you need to be close to a site to get on Dish.  Have no idea why they don't just use plmn. To test, I put it into a s21 ultra, rebooted twice, came up on T-Mobile (no n70 on s21).  Tried to manually register on 313340, but it did not connect (tried twice). I am on factory unlocked firmware but used a s22 hack to get *#73# working.  Tried what you were suggesting with a T-Mobile sim partially installed, but that was very unstable with Dish ( I think they had figured that one out).  [edit: and now I see Boost sent me a successful device swap notice which says I can now begin to use my new device.  Sigh.  Will try again later and wait for this message - too impatient.]
    • Hopefully this indicates T-Mobile hasn't completely abandoned mmwave and/or small cells? But then again this is the loop, so take that as you will. Hopefully now that most macro activity is done (besides rural colo/builds), they will start working on small cells.
