Does anyone know if the towers currently broadcasting LTE are eCSFB/CSFB enabled? Was in the airport area and tried mapping more but it would kick me to CDMA after a few seconds.

Set your device to LTE only mode

LTE by the airport is useless on triband devices right now. S4 and S5 kicks me to CDMA while the S3 stays on throughout the area.

Clearly a ecsfb issue. Complain to sprint care with the site id. Make sure you get a ticket number.

I took some guys to Pearl Harbor in my cab last night and drove around by the airport a little bit on the way back to Waikiki. I drove up and down Lagoon Dr. and the other parallel streets to map the area with Sensorly. I have an S4 and I had no problem at all getting the LTE signal.

Is it a s4 triband?

Just took a look at Sensorly. You did a great job mapping the whole area. Glad to see an awesome cabbie on the job. ????

Tiny bit of LTE I mapped in Waipahu. Got it again in village park but the speed was 1.7mbit down and failed on upload. Probably testing today. Pretty sure it's the Ewa tower because it was full reception in Waipahu Town center but no LTE but when the reception went low the LTE popped up e2u5ajan.jpg

Can't figure out where the LTE by village park is coming from. Drove though Ewa Beach today had 0 LTE. Drove back on the h1, had LTE for a tiny bit before the Kunia offramp and it switched to 3g as I cut off. Went back to LTE after emerging from the Kunia road underpass to a little into village park. Kunia tower?

Looking at the strength of the signal and the terrain, maybe you're picking up a signal from the tower across the harbor?

Maybe, but I was mapping today along Kaneohe Bay Drive which is clear across the bay from the Tower. But it's a clear line of sight with no obstruction. And the signal was pretty good considering the distance.

I'm just guessing. I'm sure there are more knowledgeable people than me.

I was at the airport Sunday night and got a good signal over most of the area shown on sensorly's map. Also I got a solid signal from the H3 tunnel all the way to MCBH and added a bit to the map there. When I left the base, I went out the back gate through Aikahi to Kailua and to the Pali. I didn't get any signal anywhere in Kailua.
