Looks like some LTE showing up on Sensorly in northern Missouri! Albany area. First North Missouri area outside of St. Joe!

Had been showing data speed upgrades on some sites there so was wondering what was up...Good catch!

I think I can justify a trip out to Greensburg now, think might go out there Tuesday

When traveling US-54/400 to or from Santa Fe, we like to stop at the new Greensburg Dillons grocery store/convenience store/gas station.

I would imagine most things are new in Greensburg these days.

That little pieced together thing...lol

My on again, off again girlfriend thinks that patronizing Greensburg businesses helps the recovery effort. Plus, the "little pieced together thing" is a bit of a curiosity in the range of Dillons that I have seen.

When I was growing up, we used to love to stop at the Kentucky Fried Chicken/Taco Bell/Pizza Hut in southern Overland Park. It was quite the novelty twenty years ago, especially to teenagers. In fact, we called it the "KenTaco Hut."

The Greensburg Dillons grocery store/convenience store/gas station reminds me of that. So, I think that it, too, needs a catchy name. I propose the "congasery storation."

While we're on the topic of Dillons' date=' the new one on Mass. in Lawrence is nice, but is missing so much of the character that Dirty Dillons/'illons had. Who knows what I'm talking about?[/quote']

I worked at that store for a year...no it doesn't but the store was falling apart only so much duct tape fixes.

I always knew it as "Ghetto Dillons."

If I am not mistaken, the older of the two West 6th St Dillons is still a pretty close clone to the now rebuilt Mass St "Ghetto/Dirty" Dillons.

If you are interested in seeing what towers have been completed, please consider a donation for Sponsor level access.

And to your question about which cell sites get LTE... all of them do.

whats the minimum amount for donation?

I have just made donation via paypal. How long it will take to appear on my profile ?

Apparently, about two minutes.

Hey ! Anybody have any idea that How many total cell sites are going to get network vision upgrade in Kansas Market? How many of them have been completed so far ?

How many will get the upgrades? All of them. How many in the market are done? Well, start counting.... because I have no idea.

You can see the percentages on the NV Running List thread pinned in the Network Vision portion of the forums.

    • Your referring to the $25.00 a month Infinite Unlimited plan?  I don't see any other plans on there even cheaper than that on their website.  I was looking at the Motorola 2023 Edge fwiw as well for $10.00 a month.
    • A heavy n41 overlay as an acquisition condition would be a win for customers, and eventually a win for T-Mobile as that might be enough to preclude VZW/AT&T adding C-Band for FWA due to spreading the market too thinly (which means T-Mobile would just have local WISPs/wireline ISPs as competition). USCC spacing (which is likely for contiguous 700 MHz LTE coverage in rural areas) isn't going to be enough for contiguous n41 anyway, and I doubt they'll densify enough to get there.
    • Boost Infinite with a rainbow SIM (you can get it SIM-only) is the cheapest way, at $25/mo, to my knowledge; the cheaper Boost Mobile plans don't run on Dish native. Check Phonescoop for n70 support on a given phone; the Moto G 5G from last year may be the cheapest unlocked phone with n70 though data speeds aren't as good as something with an X70 or better modem.
    • Continuing the USCC discussion, if T-Mobile does a full equipment swap at all of USCC's sites, which they probably will for vendor consistency, and if they include 2.5 on all of those sites, which they probably will as they definitely have economies of scale on the base stations, that'll represent a massive capacity increase in those areas over what USCC had, and maybe a coverage increase since n71 will get deployed everywhere and B71 will get deployed any time T-Mobile has at least 25x25, and maybe where they have 20x20. Assuming this deal goes through (I'm betting it does), I figure I'll see contiguous coverage in the area of southern IL where I was attempting to roam on USCC the last time I was there, though it might be late next year before that switchover happens.
    • Forgot to post this, but a few weeks ago I got to visit these small cells myself! They're spread around Grant park and the surrounding areas, but unfortunately none of the mmwave cells made it outside of the parks along the lake into the rest of downtown. I did spot some n41 small cells around downtown, but they seemed to be older deployments limited to 100mhz and performed poorly.
