    Not that I know of, but my fellow Sprint users that I know are like me, we all have old single band phones. I'm hoping to get a new one this summer, but haven't done it yet.

    I'm going to go ahead and "call it" and say the local towers have launched 1x800 voice. Central kentucky along the 127 corridor from Danville to Frankfort is completely covered in 1x800 voice. Never once lost signal from my driveway to the capitol today including a stop in the Harrodsburg Wal-mart and Danville Kroger.

    Looking forward to this, but I'm curious to see how the rest of the industry reacts to spectrum that can't be used within a couple hundred miles of the coastline. Wonderful for big cities like Chicago and Kansas City, but worthless for the "flagship" cities like NYC and Los Angeles.

    Any word on RF performance? Looking at a possible upgrade in the near future and while I would love an M8 saving a few bucks is a good idea at the moment...

    I have a feeling it's for the streaming/backend stuff more than the headphones and brand. As far as the appointing Dr. Dre and the other guy to positions in Apple corporate I assume that was a bargaining chip and little more. Maybe an appearance WWDC this year and that's it.

    I'm sure the FCC will overnight their "Approved" rubber stamp to Dallas so that AT&T can use it on the merger documents themselves. No need for oversight or discussion like that nasty Sprint company deserves for wanting to buy T-Mobile. No sir.

    I'm sure the return wouldn't be worth it, BUT would there be a benefit in some areas of moving the CDMA signal to 900mhz and using 800 for LTE only?

    How difficult is it for future upgrades to the network like this? Would the NV antenna units on the rack be capable of transmitting a signal over the AWS band with an RRU upgrade/addition?

    I'm pretty skeptical of this for now. I am not an engineer by any means, but having dealt with more than my fair share of salesmen, company reps, and insurance people I have come to the conclusion that if it's too good be true, it probably is. I want to be wrong, but I won't hold my breath.
