  1. The Motorola Photon was the best performing Sprint phone I ever owned. Too bad it was locked down and didn't have much dev support.
  2. Didn't know discussing info in the sponsor sections were taboo. I almost posted a screen shot of the map, good thing I didn't huh!
  3. Any contract already in place probably has to be honored so I doubt any adverse effects will stem from this.
  4. According to the sponsor maps there are less than 10 LTE sites in the NYC market as of last sunday, only 1 of those are in the 5 boros.
  5. Yeah your right, I had to go back and read the article on engadget. I wonder why they did it this way. Coverage too sparse to call it a launch but wanted customers to see work is being done to alleviate the poor state of their network maybe?
  6. They need to pick up the pace like they did in Chicago. Chicago had close to 100 sites completed every week for months leading up to the launch of the market. I think year end is being very optimistic. At this pace (10 non LTE sites a week) I don't see LTE being lauched before the spring 2013 here in NY
  7. I've been with Sprint for over 12 years but they keep erroding all the nice perks they used to offer and keep nickel and diming customers. I truly hope NV will be the saving grace it's promised to be. T-Mobile is looking pretty attractive lately.
  8. I've been complaining for years about poor data and dropped calls in my neighborhood. It doesn't seem much ever gets done to improve the quality of service on the netwrok. The only solution Sprint has for you is a free Airrave, the netowrk has only gotten worse over the years. I wonder to myself sometimes how could they have let the sites be so neglected and overwhelmed? Things like that don't just happen overnight, it's not just since the addition of the iPhone either.
  9. T-Mobile is coming for Sprint, unlimited will be around for a little longer yet. Unthrottled unlimited 4G is coming back! Now Sprint has no choice but to keep unlimited data http://gizmodo.com/5936764/t+mobile-is-probably-bringing-back-real-unlimited-data-plans-again
  10. Those are very optimistic given the time they were ran :-)
  11. Not all that great considering the fast speeds were done at 3AM. Notice how slow the 7PM result it
  12. I just got a $2 credit for music from @amazonmp3 and @imdb. Get your credit here: http://t.co/cIIXBsW

  13. The server hosting the speedtest session is in Clifton, NJ not the tower you are connected to.
  14. I was thinking about this same question for a few days now LMAO
  15. Official Galaxy S III announcement from Sprint http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/04/sprint-galaxy-s-iii-arrives-with-google-wallet-on-june-21/#continued
  16. Launching on all US carriers in June apparently http://www.engadget.com/2012/06/04/samsung-galaxy-s-iii-us-carrier-launch-att-verizon-sprint-t-mobile-uscc/
  17. I believe the Galaxy Nexus NFC is on the battery also. Just have to be careful when purchasing replacement batteries
  18. I had Wimax way before it was officially announced in my market, hopefully it plays out the same way.
  19. Anyway to know if the work is 4G LTE installation or 3G maintenance?
  20. Yeah me too, thought u had a line to more detailed info since you offered to check towers for the OP
  21. Thanks for the link but it would be a travesty for me to be on these forums on not know what NV is LOL I was hoping you had info on schedules other than what's posted in the Sponsor forums. Thanks anyway!
