I'm torn between the G2 and the Nexus 5. Kinda leaning towards the Nexus 5 for stock android and quicker updates and developer support.

I believe only the models with a removable back gets 16GB which I don't believe will be the model coming to Sprint.

Evo 3D was the worse phone I ever had in terms of reception. Motorola Photon 4G was the best up until I got a Note 2 HTC is known to have poor reception and Motorola is known for great signal performance.

4S to 5S makes sense to me. 5 to 5S not so much though. Just does't offer much -
It seems like such a minute update though. I currently own a Note 2 and even though I'm like you, always wanting the latest and greatest. I was tempted by the HTC one and S4 because of the 1080p screen mainly. Faster processor not so much. I just don't get why Apple fans are getting excited about the 5S. If I was an Apple fan I would be disappointed. Faster chip and a fingerprint scanner is all they really added.

The evleaks info just doesn't make sense. The Sprint G2 already passed thru the FCC and this lacks Verizon LTE bands so it's obvioiusly not a VZW device. Also the screen size 4.96" vs 5.2", battery size 2300 vs 3000 mah, camera position and no backside power button. I think Google is using evleaks for damage control. I'm not buying it.

I think your missing my point. The device leaked in the KitKat video looked to be similarly sized as Optimus Pro / Note 2.

But the dimensions are way off for the size of the device seen in the video. By comparison the Nexus 4 is 133.9 x 68.7 mm The LG D820 alleged Nexus 5 is 131.9 x 68.2 mm Is it common practice for manufacturers to send prototypes to the FCC and make changes to the final design? As long as they do not change internals in the way that would require devices to be recertified by the FCC ie operating bands or whatever else the FCC looks for.

Won't you still need an unlock code from Sprint? My understanding is that they never give out this code because they would rather you roam so they can make money off the agreements they have in place.
