    LG G2 Users Thread!

I just set mine up for the first time. I'll use it in an hour and see if it works. I'm excited. That's a pretty cool feature that I've never used in android. My debit card has the tap and pay chip inside, and every time I've tried to use it, my card gets declined. Hopefully, this will be different. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

I toggled WiFi and airplane mode a bunch of times. The only thing that fixed it was a reboot. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

Is this some kind of glitch, or is there a new feature added where it leaves both connections active? Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

Mine was just waiting for me when I checked the update center. Not sure what is different but it seems faster. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  5. Right. I'm almost certain they knew about the tower. It has to be some kind of fully-automated system. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  6. Just to reaffirm, calling Sprint and telling those prl pusher csr's that a tower has a problem, actually works. There was a tower in Beverly that had a dead LTE connection. This tower happens to be my brother's new home tower. I called on his behalf Friday, and his phone lit up with LTE a few hours ago. Excellent response, Sprint. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk

Has anyone ever encountered an issue opening pdf files with this phone? Adobe and the included polaris office refuse to open my work pdf files. It just gives an error. The same files open just fine on my pc and my iPhone. Any ideas? Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  8. Yes. HD voice on the iPhone 5s/c were enabled with ios 7.1. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  9. Yes. You had a single band device. Try and force LTE only mode. If you connect to LTE, you have a CSFB issue. Welcome to triband Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  10. What phone did you have and where do you live? Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  11. Games: I would recommend 8 ball pool, deer hunter, or bridge construction (if you enjoy the engineering-type form of entertainment). And for productivity, the only business-oriented apps that I use are "piikki" which organizes all of my business receipts with photos and generates beautiful expense reports. Also, "check" has really helped organize all the bills in my life. Having every due date, all account info, and even the ability to pay (with a small convenience charge) right from the app is incredible. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  12. I was only referring to it being released 5 months ago and still not being spark supported. It's a great phone that is basically on the back burner. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  13. What type of apps are you looking for? Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  14. It's ready to go. Every phone released this year, and here on out, will be Spark enabled. The n5 is the only device that is capable, but not officially supported without the upgrade. It's like the black sheep of Sprint's phone family. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  15. Does this phone come with a case? I saw a video unboxing, and it came with like a smoke-colored tpu case in the box. Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk

Hopefully, they switch up the rollout order. I waited 6 days for the spark update. Anyone that got it in less than a few days gets bumped to day 10 Sent from my iPhone 5s using Tapatalk
  17. A national LTE marketing campaign would be foolish, and anger many people in areas that are still transition. However, advertising in mostly completed metro areas would be good for holding onto customers.
  18. Is the n5 the only phone that works on Sprint/tmo/AT&T right out of the box?
  19. Sprint has been touting it's new network here in Chicago for about 6 months now. There's been tv commercials showing fast things like missiles and airplanes, and billboards everywhere with "10x the speeds, 10x the coverage." There are still billboards and posters on almost every corner and bus stop with their new marketing slogan of "a new network for..." with a variety of Chicago-specific things that really make no sense. "A new network for...not putting ketchup on a hotdog, photographing the first pothole of spring, for directions to anywhere but downtown, avoiding the next snowmageddon, etc."
  20. I recently received an email that my local Sprint store is closing next week. It came as a big shocker considering it was a very large corporate store in a nice area in the suburbs of Chicago.
  21. The site at Argonne is 3 blocks from where I live. When I'm using android, signal check always tells me that's where my voice calls go to on 1xRTT even though I have a tower even closer than that right along rte 83 which is where my LTE comes from. Strange.
  22. Plus, we can only hope that some kind of official announcement is made months before launch. We need apple to at least give developers screen specs so they can prepare their apps. I remember having many apps for at least a year with the smaller 4s size on my 5. Very annoying.
  23. And I hope google wants to make Chicago one of it's next fiber city's
  24. That's too big. A screen over 5" isn't very comfortable for long periods of use. Hopefully, there will be 2 new sizes like the rumors suggest. A 4.8 ish size for the iPhone faithful who maybe want a tiny bit bigger, and the rumored 5.7 to hush the people complaining about the screen being too small
