  1. My prayers have been answered! Sprint finally turned on the tower along the Stevenson between Harlem and Lagrange! Everyday, for the last 2 years on my way to and from work, I would look at my signal. Today, instead of the signal fading away to 3G, it went up to full LTE. 20mbps speedtest. Better than the usual 200kbps while sitting in a traffic jam. Thanks, Sprint! Now get that 26 rolling around here.
  2. I put a mophie air on my 5s. It gives it a rounded back and a bit of heft. I like it.
  3. Exactly. I'm not sure how I would feel about a larger iPhone. I like being able to reach and use the entire screen with one hand. It's really tough to do on my g2, or when I use my brother's note 3. Hand cramps aren't fun. I would possibly purchase an iPhone if they increased it to, say, 4.8" with a very slightly larger, thinner body, and almost no side/top bezel. That would work.
  4. The only problem is, spark doesn't benefit their entire market share. Only the percentage on Sprint. They should include it because apple touts their phone as having "the most LTE bands of any phone," and will likely implement band 41 to up that number. I'd say their main focus is making a new phone that is actually jammed with newer/better specs than in previous years. I think apple is finally realizing that people want a bigger device and will launch one this year. Then, non-apple users can end their biggest gripe about the iPhone's screen.
  5. Funny you mention this. Last night, I looked for the hell of it while calling a landline (automated system I use at work) and it said evrc_nw. Not sure why, but it did.
  6. Maybe the zing was just caught in a refreshing state. You said it was bouncing between 3 LTE bands. It might have just gotten "hung up" on a b41 download and a b25/26 upload frequency. That's my guess.
  7. Tommy, what suburb are you seeing this at? Can't you disable 41 on your hotspot to isolate a 26 connection?
  8. Wheaton, IL? I've seen "unknown" before under band. Just go back to the main ##debug# screen and hit lte engineering. Sometimes mine gets stuck and just needs a refresh. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  9. Can anyone explain to me what we know about hd voice markets and vendors? Can the call cross vendors? Or do the have to be the same vendor. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  10. Well, here's all the proof you need about the iPhone 5s having hd voice. I switched to my g2 and called my wife's iPhone. Excellent Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

    LG G2 Users Thread!

Thank you. Also, can someone show me their options under ##data# - more - advanced - edit. I need to know the stock option for the 3 vocoders. Thanks Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

    LG G2 Users Thread!

How do you check for an hd call while on a call? I know what to look for, just don't know how to get there. Thanks Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
  13. Only 50% by the end of this year? I guess that's more attainable than 100%.
  14. Don't forget: to access the 1x screen on *3001#12345#* you can't be on LTE. You need to be on 3G/1x or have LTE disabled in the settings. No prl from sprint should ever give bc10 top priority. They don't want that carrier over loaded. It should at the very least give equal priority like most androids. Instead, the iphone needs zero pcs signal before scanning for 1x800. The same should go for b25 LTE. Phones shouldn't be allowed to camp on these bands. They're for extended coverage/extra capacity as determined by the network. And as far as FaceTime audio goes: it's awesome. It's full hd, and sounds just like a cellular hd voice call. Call up a friend with it for a sneak peak of hd voice.
  15. It's a fact that the 5/5s/5c can receive band class 10. The problem is that it's really hard for us to check this info. Being on a call, add a call, *3001.... It gets annoying. I don't even look anymore because I know pcs is so prevalent in Chicago that I'm never more than half a mile from a tower. Then again, if I'm ever deep in a basement somewhere, I'll check.
  16. I see you're a sponsor. Have you tried jailbreaking and loading a custom prl? It works on the 5 but not the 5s/c.
  17. Yes. Two iPhone 5s's both with the noise cancellation mic turned on. It's just that clear I guess.
  18. Yeah it's pretty crazy/awesome. You pick up so many more background noises that it can drive you nuts. It's like the ambient noise microphones don't do anything. My wife was thumbing through a magazine, and I heard every page turn and paper crinkle.
  19. I can't find anything online, but my own ears can confirm this feature being activated.
  20. I say leave it how it is. It only matters to the tech savvy. The average person would be calling and wondering about all the symbols. The masses only want fast speeds, not different LTE logos.
  21. One thing I've noticed regarding the new update is my signal bars switch to reflect voice signal almost immediately after pressing send. It used to take exactly 10 seconds to change from LTE to voice bars.
  22. So what if your Touch ID stops working? You get a new phone from apple. I took my 5s in to an apple store today because my power button wasn't "clicky" anymore and kind of flat. Walked out with a brand new phone which was unexpected.
  23. A changelog is a developers list of all the new changes/additions. And as far as 800 voice prioritization, only a new prl would handle that.
  24. I'm having a hard time finding a changelog for 2.18.02 or bundle 16.0. Maybe they're too new.
  25. Anyone else pissed that field test still has not been updated? Small screen and non-iOS 7. I guess apple feels nobody even knows it's there, so why bother.
