  1. ATTN staff: since bands 26/41 are starting to ramp up around here, would it be possible to open a premier Chicago 26/41 discussion thread to be in compliance with the new rule? Thanks Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  2. My buddy lives there behind the jewel. Speeds are pretty good over there. That's where we go for independence day because fireworks are legal Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  3. Just click those 3 dots--system shortcuts--debug--LTE engineering. There's your band. Or for quicker access, use the signal check widget and set it to launch the debug menu. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  4. To be fair, it does say under the specs that the spark update will be "coming soon via update."
  5. Just found some more band 26 on my way in to the city. On I-55 NB between first ave. and Harlem ave. It switched over because of capacity, surprisingly. Right at the Harlem exit has always been terrible, and makes spotify stop. Today, it kept playing. Speedtest was 11mbps, field test showed 26 Looks like it's spreading.
  6. Yep. 26 is a guarantee now when I walk indoors at my office. I have yet to connect to it outdoors since the first night it came online. A little disheartening, but I'm sure things are still being worked out. I really need band 41 on an iPhone like yesterday. I've forced myself to "deal" with android devices just to experience awesome data speeds at work.
  7. Did you only see that in one place? How were your speeds? Keep an eye out. Now that I know the channel numbers, I will, too.
  8. This. This is exciting. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  9. I just read this article that states April 21st it begins http://au.ibtimes.com/articles/548511/20140417/nexus-5-4-7-android-3-kitkat.htm#.U0-w6cso4m8 Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk

    LG G2 Users Thread!

I've done some funny things with my gs4 when I first got it a year ago. Not many (if any) phones had an RF blaster when that was released, so you could really f*** with people. I turned off several large TVs in a Vegas casino, and then turned off a massive screen/projector in a sports bar during a pivotal moment during the nba finals. So fun.
  11. I think they've been there for awhile now. They sometimes show up in timeline for me. And really nowhere else.
  12. Yeah, mine didn't originally show up. I just now received the update. I like the new interface. Easier and faster to navigate.
  13. It's not a bug. Back out to the main tapatalk screen. Click settings, then under the posts section, change read order from first unread to most recent. I enjoy first unread because it lets you start where you left off. The server knows when you're scrolling through a thread, and sort of bookmarks it.
  14. Yeah, I don't think it was released. Not one mention of it anywhere on the web. Sent from my Nexus 5 using Tapatalk
  15. Wait, so the n5 is domestically unlocked, but internationally locked?
  16. The clock on my phone has been jumping back and forth 1 hour since about 11pm. Anyone else? I read about this in another thread earlier today. It almost caused me to miss the blood moon that was cancelled by Chicago cloud cover
  17. Now, I can have those email notifications turned off when I'm quoted, I just don't know how. EDIT: Also, maybe the update they sent you did this, but clicking on a member's name now shows all of their information. Cool.
  18. Excellent. What a nice feature the quote didn't show up but the "like" did. Maybe it was just too close together. Anyways, thank you, Robert, for the update.
  19. Can we use this thread to test out notifications, Robert? Will someone kindly quote me?
  20. Bears can win a super bowl with Cutler. As long as he can stay healthy; He's actually a great quarterback
  21. It wanted 3g more than a bad band 25. And actually, if I pocketed my phone in that room, it wanted to grab 3g. Probably because of scan times. Leaving it out sitting next to me for a minute returned the phone to band 26. Also, an airplane toggle quickly brought it back to 26 without waiting out the rescan.
  22. I must say, band 26 has the propagation that's been promised. I'm in a pretty bad area for signal (near where I suspect that a 26 cluster came online) and I'm sitting in a doctors exam room, in the middle of the building, with 2 doors closed behind me. I have a -98 b26 LTE signal with speeds of 6mbps/4mbps. Awesomeness.
  23. Still getting it here on the south side. I usually work nights, but had to pick something up from work just now. For the last week, I could only get 26 when I would step inside the building. Today, I'm getting 26 outside, probably because of daytime band 25 crowding. We won't know exactly where or how many towers have been accepted until Robert posts another LTE 800 update.

Sounds like a CSFB issue. Where do you live? The gs4, assuming it wasn't the newer gs4 triband is a single path radio device.
