  1. What do you mean by where does Sprint's LTE falls within those parameters? Sprint's LTE in the G block encompasses the entire G block so it uses 10 MHz (1910-1915 MHz on the uplink and 1990-1995 MHz on the downlink) of bandwidth. If you are asking if the Wilson amp (which supports from 1850-1910 MHz and 1930-1990 MHz) can support Sprint LTE, I am going to say NO because its off by 5 MHz. I don't think its as simple as a firmware upgrade to fix it so that it can support the extra 5 MHz on the downlink and uplink. Also it sounds like you are trying to replace your home ISP with Sprint 4G LTE which is a no-no. LTE should be used primarily for mobile use and not as your primary home ISP.
  2. Like Stephanie from the TV show Full House use to say....."How rude!!"
  3. Very interesting. I really hope that a triband LTE GS4 does come to Sprint. I think that would be great and it would give credence that the BOGO free GS4 promotion was an effort to get rid of the existing single band GS4 inventory. I am curious though that the HTC One is now doing a BOGO free promotion as well which I wonder if Sprint is pondering a HTC One triband LTE version for the future. I have my doubts but I would certainly welcome more and more devices to be triband LTE to put less load on Band 25 for the future.
  4. I am bit confused about this Sprint wireline talk. Does this mean that Sprint will upgrade its Sprintlink network to be fiber based nationwide? If so, does this have any impact on Sprint's wireless services in providing backhaul to Sprint towers in the future?
  5. I have a feeling Sprint will price this at $149 with 2 year contract given that AT&T is planning to sell it at that price. I would be shocked if this sells for $99 with 2 year contract.
  6. I am curious about the black box. It looks interesting. Hopefully HTC will announce a launch event for IFA sometime between Sept 6-11th. I really think HTC needs to strike against the Note 3 at the same time to have a chance. Not to mention that the iPhone 5S event is coming on Sept 10th.
  7. Thanks. I think this change would help out most folks who are curious since its very clear that a "NO" means not supported.
  8. Josh. Might I suggest that for the SVDO, SVLTE, LTE 1900, LTE 800 and LTE 2600 rows in the table that if the technology does not exist for that device to add a "NO" instead of some cells that say "NO" and some cells that are grayed out. It just looks weird to me. I would much rather see a "NO" for all the grayed out cells instead of just "blanks" so it looks like a complete table. Also you can add the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 to this list. I wonder how much this is going to cost as a mid range. Could be $99 or $149.
  9. I believe att has already resolved that issue with siri xm Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  10. Well hate to break it to you but on Sept 3rd you will still be waiting considering that the Samsung event is on Sept 4th...
  11. But here is the problem...sprints LTE bands are very specific so unless sprint ever requested a dual band LTE gs4, which i highly doubt, there wouldnt be such device in the pipeline. Sprint was just waiting for the LTE 800 fit test results before launching triband. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  12. Its either single band or triband. No point of sprint making dual band lte phones. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  13. Arent there some complaints that water was leaking into the S4 active? Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  14. Exactly. Once the winter comes, its going to be harder for the Denver crews to get sites up and running since the conditions to climb up the towers to install the panels and RRUs is more dangerous. I just hope it has a bunch of sites in the metro area are upgraded to NV equipment before the winter comes regardless if LTE is accepted at that time. The key is to take advantage of the better weather now to climb up those towers to install the RRUs and panels and install the cabinets. Lighting up LTE when waiting for backhaul shouldn't be that bad when its mainly ground work which can be done in the winter.
  15. My god is Denver slow. There are like no NV sites in the main metro areas of Denver. I hope Sprint really picks up the pace soon. While they might have LTE 2600 in Denver, the majority of LTE customers cannot take advantage of that right now since triband LTE phones have not been released.
  16. I highly doubt it. We don't even know if there will be a GS4 triband device. There is no FCC evidence to show that even a GS4 triband LTE device for Sprint is in the making. I just think at the end if people like the GS4 or HTC One design, they will have to live with single band LTE.
  17. Yup that is why I keep saying until I see a FCC doc that has has the GS4 dimensions with triband LTE for Sprint, I am going to assume all of this is wishful thinking and if those that want a GS4 badly will have to live with single band LTE.
  18. Hopefully this means that a new HTC One triband LTE version is coming in the Fall as well but who knows. I think if the Galaxy S4 gets an updated version with triband LTE, we may see a HTC One triband LTE version but I highly doubt that.
  19. I am not surprised but another leak that lists the countries that will receive the Exynos 5 model and the Snapdragon 800 model. At no surprise, the USA is scheduled to get the Snapdragon 800 model (SM-N9005) which I am thrilled about. I trust Qualcomm with their LTE radios and not to mention their CDMA 1xA radios. Sweet I also hit my L337 post!!!! http://www.sammobile.com/2013/08/15/exclusive-list-of-countries-receiving-galaxy-note-iiis-exynos-5420-or-snapdragon-800-variant-sm-n9005-specs-confirmation/
  20. How come 2500/600 4G LTE and LTE Advanced both have the same number of post counts of 2500. I think you meant to say that LTE Advanced is 3000 posts? Why not Lightsquared 1600 MHz...haha
  21. Too bad the Verizon LG G2 variant won't be release until early 2014 with 100 Verizon logos on it.
  22. Well since Leap is being bought up by AT&T, Sprint mind as well grab up US Cellular and improve the spectrum portfolios in the Mid-west and east. I would much rather have had Sprint made a bid for Leap though.
  23. i just want Sprint to update the "4G" icon to have a "4GLTE" icon to be on par with the rest of other major carriers. Sprint should be trying to distance themselves from Wimax so they should have a 4G LTE icon.
