The problem is on the GS4 there is SVLTE which allows signalcheck to display 1x and LTE values at the same time where as none of the new triband LTE phones have SVLTE capability. Therefore the triband LTE devices thus far cannot show both 1x and LTE values on signalcheck. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk

What is weird is that I downloaded CDMA Field Test Application app and it is working fine for retrieving 1x and evdo values. I even compared the values generated in Settings-> About Phone -> Network in real time and it seems to be pretty accurate.

I don't have LTE near my house. I just have 3G in my area. I haven't been out in an area to test out LTE yet. I even switched the Mobile Networks setting to CDMA only and it won't show the values.

I just activated the device about 30 minutes ago and I am having issues with the Signalcheck app as well where it is not showing my 1x and EVDO values. I haven't had a chance to test it out in a LTE area but I am worried that it is not even showing up 1x and EVDO values. It shows the Wifi values just fine though. Anyone else seeing this issue or can help explain why this is happening?

I got the drivers from the tmobile variant on the lg website. I checked att variant as well and it was the same driver as tmobile. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2

Speaking of which....I remember that I am suppose to tap you to help me change the 3G and 4G icons for this phone. I need to get this phone activated tomorrow and verify that LTE works first.

Lame....the sprint call offices are closed and I can't activate my device tonight. Sprint.com/activate doesn't work on SERO plans. I have to call Sprint tomorrow morning.

Well I don't think we know for sure if it can't connect to B41 because the B25 LTE connectivity issues trumped further investigation of B41 since people were scared to make changes. Now that we have folks that don't have B25 LTE connectivity issues and have confidence that B25 LTE works and also have manually enabled B26 and B41 bands, I still haven't read a clear answer on a yes or no on this issue.

Can you confirm if you can connect to B41 LTE? Did you set it to highest priority and go near a B41 LTE tower?

I played with the GS4 mini at the sprint store today and boy is it tiny. It is not even a mini, it is tiny. I wonder how sales will be for this device because I can't see the GS4 mini being too popular not only because of form factor but the specs are lower.

I assume you updated your profile and are still having issues connecting to LTE? Did you try quering for software updates? How did you install the LS980V7.1 factory image? Is it available for download anywhere? Does this version 7.1 image help with LTE connectivity issues?

I guess...but IMO it's kind of silly to think that the htc rom will not have htc sense. Also vanilla Android is referred as "stock android"... not" Android stock". Either way it's been corrected to avoid confusion. If u hear tech blogs say..."The phone comes shipped with android 4.4 stock". That is what I am referring to. ARGH!!!! Why does everyone assume when people say "Android 4.4 stock" to mean the pure Nexus 4.4 stock ROM????? Obviously HTC is going to add HTC Sense to their Android 4.4 ROM. What I mean is that the stock ROM that will be released is going to be based off of Android 4.4. I guess I should edit my post to make it less confusing.

Its all good. Its just what I see people say. But no matter what, no one assumes that a non-Nexus device will get pure stock Android.
