  1. Interesting. I'll have to keep an eye out for that since I just enabled B41 on my G2.
  2. Can you answer my PM now that I helped you get your MSL?
  3. Very awesome. Your welcome for helping you get your MSL. By the way, when you enabled B41, did you set the band priority for B41 to 0 or 1. Also what is your band priority for B25...0 or 1? Do you mind posting a screen shot of your band priority page.
  4. Result as in you still can't get your MSL? Or you could but you had to some weird thing to get it to work on your machine?
  5. Awesome it worked? Yeah I left step D there since that is what the OP had in the XDA thread. Maybe step D is just an extra confirmation step but is not really necessary as long as you can connect to the device. Steps E and F are really for reading your MSL.
  6. If you are a sponsor you should be checking the NV Complete maps on a regular basis to see if LTE towers around you have been upgraded. At this point you should be looking for yellow color markers in the NV Complete maps because you are in a non-incumbent market and need both NV 3G and 4G to be accepted in order for towers in MKE to get LTE.
  7. In my steps right here, try skipping step D after you perform step C "Connect" because steps E and F are for reading your MSL. A. Click the “Scan” button. B. Select the “LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COMxx)”. C. Click the "Connect" button. D. Click the “Read Device” button. The screen should populate with you MDN, MIN and SID. E. Under Method, select "LG". F. Click “Read SPC”. The SPC field should populate with your SPC (MSL).
  8. I know it kinda freezes when you try to exit but not when you launch it. So what step are you stuck at? It won't find the phone? Did you verify on Windows device manager that you get an entry under Ports for "LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COMxx) (xx=port #)"? Also try using these USB drivers under Software Update. http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-D801
  9. The G2 already has an unofficial CM 10.2 ROM Nov 11th build and as soon as CM 11 begins work, all the major carriers will get support quickly for that stock Android look.
  10. For anyone interested in finding their MSL and don't want to contact Sprint, there is an easy method to find your MSL for your device. Let me know if it works for you.. I already had my MSL before performing this method so I can verify that this method does work. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2521276 Part 1, Connecting the phone in diagnostics mode: Install a USB driver. http://www.lg.com/us/support-mobile/lg-LS970. I used the LS970 package as the LS980 page only had directions to update drivers via the LG Mobile Tools. On the phone, enable USB debugging in developer options (tap the build # in Settings > About Phone > Software Information, 7 times to enable developer options). Dial ##DIAG# (##3424#) and enable diagnostics mode. Connect phone, select "charge only" Check windows device manager to see if you have a com port. It should be listed as “LGE AndroidNet USB Serial Port (COMxx) (xx=port #). Part 2, Get your MSL: 1. Get Basic Flasher http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2394499. (Great tool! Please thank the poster "bigfdaddy2” and make a donation at tiny.cc/oriax123donate if you like it.) 2. Open Basic Flasher, password is oriax123. 3. In Basic Flasher: A.
  11. Anyone try to change the signal and 3G/4G icons on the LG G2?
  12. How do you remove the Connection Optimizer completely?
  13. This is just a teaser but it looks like a CM 10.2 ROM is in the works. It is good to know that development is off to a good start especially since the other carriers had a 2 month head start and was able to work out the kinks. I'll just leave this right here as proof. http://downloads.codefi.re/shelnutt2/g2/spr
  14. One thing to keep in mind is to make sure you have enabled Light Flow in the phone under Settings->Accessibility->Services. If you want to be really sure you can also select the option in Lightflow settings for Root mode to ensure that root takes over.
  15. I was logging into my Sprint account on the website and I noticed I saw a link right under "See my contract details" that says Get my PIN1/PUK1 unlock code. When I click on that link it opens up a new window that says LTE Unlock code and it gives you your PIN1 and PUK1 codes. My question is what are these PIN1 and PUK1 codes used for?
  16. I assume by now we know what the LG G2 uses for sim card correct? I assume the one that is listed in the matrix is correct.
  17. Has anyone taken the bold steps to enable B26 and B41 bands and have tried to verify B41 LTE at known upgraded Clearwire sites?
  18. I know huh. But at the same time I am not going to lie in that I wish there are more 4G sites in ALU though. But I would have to think that the 3G would still be faster in these areas given the LTE backhaul already present unless the old legacy CDMA equipment cannot hook up to Ethernet backhaul.
  19. Tried the S4 mini and it blows. Its so small it should be called the S4 Tiny. However despite how small it is..technically the screen is still larger than the iPhone 5S which is pretty sad.
  20. If once confirmed by many members in this forum that live in these non-incumbent NV areas and can't get LTE on 4G only sites, S4GRU should do a PSA for those confused about the situation so this forum doesn't get bombarded by the same questions.
  21. My guess is that all triband LTE devices are considered eCSFB compatible so yes the Galaxy Mega 6.3 should fall victim to the same fate. I am glad to know that this issue is not due to the phone OEM so that we don't place unfair blame on LG and Samsung for producing faulty triband LTE units. If anything Sprint needs to wise up and take its time especially in the non-incumbent markets to make sure the LTE gap is minimal before officially launching markets going forward. Most of these markets are in Samsung territory since Samsung was not an incumbent provider of Sprint legacy network equipment.
  22. Is there a list of eCSFB vs. CSFB devices? I assume all the triband LTE devices are considered eCSFB devices and all single band LTE devices which seem to all have SVLTE support are considered CSFB devices?
  23. sucks that the G2 doesn't qualify for this rebate.
  24. Yes that was the issue and now it is fixed. That is why I deleted my posts from earlier today since I have my answer in another thread. I guess on my old Photon 4G phone I always had that option enabled so it didn't occur to me that this was the issue. Thanks for all the great work.
  25. I just figured out the issue and resolved it. I didnt have one option enabled in location settings. Sent from my LG-LS980 using Tapatalk
