    LG G Flex LS995

It won't be coming to the US that is for sure. The Galaxy Round is only being released in Korea and I see the LG Flex going the same route. Since it is still new technology it is best for LG and Samsung to not market this worldwide until they can get a feel for the demand and interest in the Korean market. Even harsh criticism will be accepted more easily from the korean consumers than the worldwide press. I don't expect to see a curved phone to hit the US market at the very earliest in 2014 but I am guessing more like 2015 assuming it has rave reviews and the lessons learned are incorporated in the next version.
  3. >< ..yes you are right. My bad.
  4. Do you have a link? CM 10.2 is Android 4.3. I know in the XDA forums some guy was working on an unofficial alpha ROM for CM 10.1 so that was the last I heard of. I wonder why just the Verizon and International version. If AT&T and Tmobile get support, then there is a good chance the Sprint version will get support.
  5. Yes. However I believe they are only getting CM 10.1 support which is Android 4.2.2. I just hope when Android 4.4 comes out that they start building a CM 10.3 or CM 10.4 (whatever name they want to call it) and provide a CM ROM for all variants of the LG G2.
  6. You are correct and on top of that it only benefits Sprint overall if they have more triband LTE devices out in their network so that they can start leveraging their resources and push folks out to the LTE 2600 band in markets that they can currently to alleviate the LTE 1900 band. This is why having a triband LTE device is crucial for the future because it benefits both you as the consumer and Sprint to provide an overall better experience.
  7. I am surprised AJ hasn't caught the misspelling of "Priority" once you enable the options for Band Priority in the first screenshot. It says "Band 25 Proirity = 0", "Band 26 Proirity = 1" and "Band 41 Proirity = 1" In terms of the band priority, I am surprised that Sprint doesn't allow 41 > 26 > 25. I would have expected that Sprint would want people using B26 for deep indoors. Good thing the local towers around me don't have LTE 1900 or LTE 800 so it will definitely jump to LTE 2600 right away.
  8. ipad Mini with retina display is $399 for 16 GB. A little pricey for the ipad mini for retina display considering that the Nexus 7 is only $229.
  9. I think some screenshots in the Band Priority screen with the options available to choose from would help a lot. Thanks for bringing us this info thus far. I believe I saw a sneak peak of the Band Priority Menu on XDA which contained a "1" for B25. I assume when you mean "high" and "low" it gives you an option of "0" or "1"?
  10. Yes!!! It is on the same page where you enable/disable all the LTE bands as shown below.
  11. When you have a chance to activate it, can you verify if manually enabling B26 and B41 through MSL code sticks and allows us to use B26 and B41 LTE? I am sure everyone is interested in this. This way we can get an answer and put this question to bed.
  12. It sure seems like all of a sudden there is a huge rush of folks looking to cancel the LG G2 to get the GS4T. I guess it goes to show how much faith people still have in Samsung over any other OEM. But Sprint still has to show that they are going to provide this new GS4 darn device. Heck Sprint hasn't even announced anything yet for the Galaxy Mega 6.3 so who knows.
  13. Perhaps but I ain't waiting any longer. Besides I don't like the fact that Samsung has the Knox program. I am curious if the new GS4 will have the same Knox program for flagging root or flashing custom ROMs.
  14. What I don't get is why are folks so all up and arms about the fact that the LTE B26 and B41 may not available at launch? If it is proven that by manually enabling the LTE bands 26 and 41 through the MSL code works and we can connect to LTE band 26 and 41 at launch then does it really matter? As long as we are able to use our LTE band 26 and 41 here on S4GRU then who cares. The average consumer won't know about how to check for LTE band 26 and 41 activation and will use their phone like normal. I have full faith that LG and Sprint will release a future firmware update to enable all those LTE bands eventually. I don't get all this whole mistrust of LG without giving them a chance to make it right and to me this is totally unfair to them. If anyone who gets the GS4 triband assuming it will be triband LTE support out of the box is crazy as if Samsung is to be the only one trusted. Sprint is in the driver seat on determining what LTE bands are enabled at launch and it doesn't matter if this was HTC, Samsung, LG or Motorola. Can someone explain to me why all of a sudden it seems like people are having this abandon ship mentality on the LG G2? To me it sounds pretty ridiculous.
  15. My local best buy a fully functional sprint lg g2 on display. The device wasnt activated with service but you could play with it. Sent from my Motorola Photon 4G using Tapatalk 2
  16. From looking at the FCC docs using just the Modulated Average (dBm) numbers between the LG G2 and GS4 triband, it looks like the RF capabilities between the two for LTE B25 and B26 are about the same. However the new GS4 seems to do better in LTE B41 than the LG G2. Overall looks like the new GS4 triband seems to be a good RF performer. But AJ will have way more deeper analysis than I can provide. This is from the "RF Exposure Info" FCC document new GS4 (modulated average in dBm) LTE B25: nominal 22.5 and maximum 23.0 LTE B26: nominal 24.0 and maximum 24.5 LTE B41: nominal 24.0 and maximum 24.5 LG G2 (modulated average in dBm) LTE B25: nominal 23.2 and maximum 23.7 LTE B26: nominal 24.0 and maximum 24.5 LTE B41: nominal 21.2 and maximum 21.7
  17. Ahh you are right about a white Nexus 4. However it was a very limited edition which sold out quickly and from the articles I read it wasn't until around June 2013 until the white Nexus 4 came out and was only available for 1 month. In July 2013, the white Nexus 4 was no longer available. So unless people want to wait until half a year later assuming the same trend like the Nexus 4 the hardcore enthusiasts are not going to wait that long. Perhaps we might see Google realize how popular the white color Nexus 4 phone was and will offer a white Nexus 5 right off the bat in November.
  18. As much as it sounds interesting to have a white Nexus 5 option, I doubt that will happen. The Nexus devices are usually very plain. One color, one battery capacity, usually 2 storage capacities. Being exciting is not one of the Nexus strong suits. I would be very surprised if Google decides to launch an all white Nexus 5 option.
  19. The big question is when is Sprint going to start releasing this new "T" model which has triband LTE and phasing out the old GS4 phones. Then second question is who is going to upgrade to this GS4 triband LTE edition.
  20. I mean its really hard to tell which sites you are looking at that you were trying to connect to LTE 2600 in Jax. Since you are not a Premier Sponsor you don't have access to the LTE 2600 maps which show where every Clearwire site is in Jax and whether it is scheduled for launch yet. Having coverage in with Clearwire Wimax does not equate to Clearwire LTE at the moment. Clearwire is deploying LTE 2600 in two phases. Perhaps the sites you expect to have LTE 2600 are in Phase 1 but won't launch until later on this year.
  21. I have never swapped phones online. What is the link to do this?
  22. No idea. You might have to ask the iPhone section in the forum about this but I am not sure what the dialer codes are to access the menu. I remember someone had to be jailbroken and downloaded an app that can display your current LTE engineering settings. But since there is no iOS 7 jailbroken method I don't think we know this information right now.
