  1. if you are a sponsor to this site you can see that building is really ramping up in Phoenix. You will start seeing 3g improvements all over town now and in the coming weeks and months. If history teaches us something you should also start seeing lte pop up in parts of town in a month or two. You won't be waiting long, the towers are upgrading now! 2. Clockwork is good. I am currently using TWRP, but both are basically the same and will definitely get the job done. I would just watch a youtube video on rooting the gsIII, I'm sure there are tons our there. I have been rooting since the Tmobile G1 and currently have the note II. Rooting and flashing roms has become as easy as a click of the button, big change since the G1.
  3. just go for it. It's so easy to switch between roms that you can play with one and switch within minutes if you don't like the one you installed. Watch out though, it's addicting Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  4. Why does it even matter what place they are? As long as they are a successful company and I'm satisfied with my service I could care less what "rank" they are. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  5. Miui? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  6. They should have a bit of a time advantage because they already have fiber to their hspa+ locations speeding up the whole lte process. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  7. Can't say for certain, but flashing alternating radios can effect phone performance. I would try to get back to stock everything and see if your issues persist. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Interesting. Did you flash an alternate radio when you installed a custom Rom? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  9. There have been numerous discussions on this forum about how the evo lte has subpar radio performance for lte.
  10. dang what have you been feeding your upload speeds down there? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  11. currently 800 voice is being rolled out. 800 lte will begin rolling out later this year I believe. Most new phones have 800 voice but no new phones have 800 lte capability yet. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  12. not necessarily. Every tower should have it, but I would imagine there will definitely be places you drop to evdo or 1x still. Once 800 lte rolls out you should have less drops off of lte. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  13. wait until you hear about the gs4. Being so close to learning about it you would be crazy to buy a phone tonight. If you don't like the gs4 then get the note, but wait its only like two days. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  14. you need to be a sponsor to see those maps. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  15. I see it differently. I think if companies like Apple continue to sell their phone for lets say $600 that your average person is going to instead by a huawei for $300 despite features differences. The only reason people buy the best phone now is because $200 doesn't seem like a huge investment and its not going to matter if they buy the Apple or the huawei, there monthly price will be the same. Once subsidy prices are excluded from monthly fees, it will force the top phone makers to push their prices lower if they want to sell phones. That is my theory at least. It's all dependent on the carriers being honest and actually removing the subsidy money from monthly rates and not just taking us for all we got. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  16. I don't think it's going to drive down cellphone costs until another major carrier jumps on board with no subsidies, maybe even another two carriers. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  17. I beg to differ. I have seen numerous posts on this site about accepted sites not broadcasting lte. There can be many reasons they haven't turned it on. The only guarantee you have from it being accepted is that it's ready to broadcast. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  18. just because it's completed doesn't mean it is on. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  19. A very good entry level dslr is the Canon t2i, t3i, or t4i. I'm not sure if you have ever heard of slickdeals, it is a forum completely dedicated to finding deals on everything. Here is a link to a Canon package with decent zoom lens http://m.slickdeals.net/f/5873288-Canon-EOS-Digital-Rebel-T4i-18MP-SLR-Camera-w-18-55mm-Lens-55-250mm-IS-Lens-699-Free-Shipping Keep an eye out in that forum for those cameras, really good deals pop up all the time for around 500-600. 20. I bet you could get Sprint to upgrade you one day early. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  21. even so, there is no way that the rest of the flap where the piece came off is not at the least slightly damaged, making the possibility for other pieces to fail pretty likely. I would be flipping a nut if I saw that in my aircraft. Maybe that is just my paranoid engineer self, but still. I'm sure faa would love to see that pic. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  22. Could be a problem with the isp/backhaul that all the carriers in the area use? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  23. Robert could probably attest to that better than I can, but I would say that they don't allow it. If they allowed it Robert wouldn't have trouble getting the information from sources, which I believe he has in the past. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  24. He should set up a PayPal fund for S4GRU, who knows how many customers have switched over or stayed due to the "free" advertising this site provides. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  25. At least there is incentive, for their pocket, to roll out quickly. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
