  1. Since we were in the topic earlier of sharing a Wi-Fi connection it got me thinking. Firstly, this thread isn't meant to condone sharing of Wi-Fi signals or violating tos of any provider. Taking a purely educational and hypothetical approach. First I would like to reiterate what I understand from earlier, sharing an internet connection with a neighbor violates most isps tos. If this is the case, then doesn't it inherently violate said tos by broadcasting a Wi-Fi signal that reaches beyond your property? If that is the case, I find it contradictory that most isps, centurylink in my experience, push all customers to buy/lease a wireless capable dsl modem that had enough power to distribute internet beyond the average households property line. I'm just wondering if anyone has a comment on whether or not broadcasting Wi-Fi beyond ones property is inherently in violation of most isps tos. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  2. Robert. So you said no 800, meaning no 800 lte or 800 voice, or both? Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2

  4. if you go over to xda and install a custom Rom, some of them give that ability, however,I don't think stock will let you do that. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  5. you will not be disappointed with the speeds in abq. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  6. you can get 1000 ft of Ethernet for around a hundred or so on monoprice.com. run it to your barn and put an access point out there. Plus you never know when you might find having internet in your barn useful. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  7. search for "ip baby monitor" lots of hits. You can either use your mobile connection or your wifi connection. There are plenty of routers that can act as repeaters. Either true repeaters or routers flashed with DD-wrt (search it). I would search for microwave repeaters too, you could shoot your internet signal to your barn then broadcast it there with another router. Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  8. Wireless ip-cam that you connect to on your phone? Not sure if it would have all the features you want though Sent from my SPH-L900 using Tapatalk 2
  9. I came from T-Mobile. They had excellent coverage in Albuquerque and I averaged about 8Mbps down. The thing I couldn't stand is that they seem to only have 3g in cities. If I ever traveled to santa fe the edge network was unusable due to the how slow the latency was and the fact that I was traveling 75 on the highway. If t-mobile would have pushed for converting all of their towers to 3g intially, I think they would be a lot better off and probably wouldn't have lost me as a customer.
  10. Yep been by there. When I worked in los alamos we would venture down to the city different sometimes. Sent from my Galaxy Note II

  16. The round table format ate hairy spiders when drunk. Its towers became bloated after swallowing a mouthful of baby formula. The baby ate his poisoned barbeque chicken ribs without A1 steak sauce. Fix the chair leg before somebody trips and breaks their sister's glass. It peed shards of LTE droppings from bubbly fermented apples

  21. i really appreciate your feedback. I'm not too worried about the size as i spent about fifteen minutes playing with one in the store and almost couldn't readjust my eyes to my current phone (about four inches) that's great to hear about the experience with better signal strength. Has anyone been using Swype with their phone? Ate you able to type one handed pretty well? Sent from my Dark Jelly Belly using Tapatalk 2
